Do you have a KitchenAid Food Processor?

My brother bought me a french fry disc for Christmas, but my disc stem is kind of rectangular and this disc has a circle with 6 prong cut-out in it. Can I buy a different disc stem?

I have a 7 cup Kitchen Aid processor, and I'm able to release the metal blade from the stem...can you do that and just use the stem from one of the existing blades?

Is yours a 700 series model? I'm not really sure what you mean. I only have one disc stem that all the discs fit on, except the one DB bought me. I found out that it's only for 500 and 600 series models, mine's 740.
