Do You Have A Favorite Hotel Chain Overall?

I think that this is probably the best place to ask this question since Orlando seems to have all of the major hotel chains, and even hotels that don't appear to be part of a chain are often owned by large chain companies.

I know that everybody from the Ritz Carlton to the Motel 6-type places usually found out on Interstate highways have their following for different reasons. What is your favorite hotel chain and why?

We prefer the Marriott Brand which consists of Ritz Carlton, Marriott, JW Marriott, Courtyard, Fairfield Inn, Residence Inn, Springhill Suites along with a few others. We find the quality to be consitent among their brands and they have a great rewards program. We have also purchased in to their vacation ownership at Marriott's Grande Vista in Orlando.

Hilton has a great reward program. Of the Hilton brands, I prefer Embassy Suites. They have a great breakfast and sleep 6.

I'm an Embassy Suites man, through and through. Awesome place to stay... the atrium is one of the neatest things for me. Great breakfast as well, as the person above me stated. And their pools are generally good, and me being the avid swimmer I am, I love to head down there.

I prefer the Marriott family but also find the Starwood (Westins, Sheratons, etc.) group and Hyatts acceptable. These major chains are consistent from location to location and generally provide a very good customer experience.

Country Inn and Suites is our favorite one. Never been disappointed with one yet.

Yep we love the Hilton properties too, especially Embassy Suites (preferred) and Hampton Inn (second).

I love the Hilton Honors program, we've had many great stays that cost us nothing thanks to it. You can get the HHonors AMEX card, get alot of bonus points for opening one and also for using it. We charge everything we can to it, and usually walk away with enough points each year for 5-7 free nights (depending on where we stay and when).

Homewood Suites and Residence Inns are my first choices. Hampton Inns are also usually pretty nice and less expensive. Country Inns and Suites are typically pretty good, too, and can often be found available at a reasonable rate on road trips.

Definitely love the Hilton. Homewood suites is my favorite because they provide a nice breakfast and a light dinner on Mon-Thurs evenings

Westin - Heavenly Bed, need I say more?

Then again I am somewhat biased. They cut my paycheck for years...

Marriott is our favorite overall brand.

However, we will choose different brands (Hyatt, Intercontinental, Westin, etc) based on our experiences at particular hotels in different cities.

Marriott is my favorite overall brand. Although Sheraton, Westin, and Hampton Inn are pretty good, too.

Favorites: Embassy Suites (Hilton), Residence Inn (Marriott), Sheraton (Starwood):lovestruc

Ok: Holiday Inn Express--The newer, enclosed ones (InterContinental Hotels Group) :)

Hate: The low-end hotels/motels of Wyndam Corp and the Choice hotels/motels (at least, I'm not fond of these places when you stay more than one night).
