I am not talking about a pre-made one. I would like to see pic of your own home made ones. I want to know what did you put in it. How did you personalize it? Give me tips!

Thanks!

Sort of. I have a folder with loose papers and maps, then I have a spiral notebook with packing lists, things to buy, places I want to visit, rides I want to do, stuff like that. I don't use an itinerary for rides really, but I use them for parks. I'll visit one park this day, another the next. I write that down, but once I'm at the parks I just go to the shortest lines and use the fastpass for longer lines. I do write down certain things in my notebook though and bring it with me to the hotel room and note cards to the parks sometimes.

I have a 3 ring binder that I am using this time. It has the clear plastic cover and I put a big Mickey head in there as the decoration:). I used dividers with slash pockets in them and made sections for: POFQ, WL, ADRs, TourguideMike/Itinerary planning, Flights/Rental car, and packing lists. We're doing a split stay, hence the 2 hotel sections:).

I'm going to take it with me on the trip, but not into the parks. I included blank, lined paper so I can keep a trip journal in it, too. That will help me with my trip report and my scrapbook. I thought about buying a premade one again (I bought a Passporter last year) but decided it would be more fun (and economical since I had all the supplies) to make my own.

What i do is this very simple and easy

1. Order the custom maps online of each park you are going to and pick the rides and things u want to see.
2. Go use like Microsoft power point or even word and make a table chart with the days as columns and each box on what u are planning to do. go to Google grab some Disney pictures to make them look prudy
3. Same thing for your last min supplies and other things you are planning on to bring to the trip.
4. Print out all reservation numbers and flight info/ hotel info.
5. Index page with numbers of hotels and restaurants you will be attending
6. Put them together in a clear folder thingy and ur set
I do this for ever vacation we go to and it works very well!

Mine is a red softsided binder. It includes our ADRs, flight and resort confirmation numbers, PIN postcard, and a billion assorted tips. Some stuff is in plastic sheet protectors, for others I used a 3 hole punch.

when we went a few years ago i made one out of the brown paper lunch bags like a scrapbook for my dd. 1 bag for each day and they were sewn together like a book with slots in the end. i put the park name and a place for a picture and stickers and she was able to put keepsakes inside for each park. it turned out really cute.

Well, I don't have any pictures of it, but I have pictures I used for it. I'll have to dig them up.

We used this Mickey Head, with the name of the section written under it in Waltograph, for the title page of each section:

I also edited a t-shirt design from the Creative Disboards for the cover of it.

My section are:
Flights
Pop Century
Reservations
Budget
General Park Info
Magic Kingdom
Epcot
DHS
DAK
Itineraries
Menus
Packing Lists
Activities
Maps

And I have a Pirates of the Carribean (Mmmm... Johnny Depp) folder for loose papers, etc.

I have a binder and a folder. In the folder I add swatches of the paper that I write the hints, tips and ideas down from here. Then, I gather the info after a few weeks, write them in the binder in the spot that I have made for them. I also, have a small pocket in the front of the binder, and I put my index cards for my ressies in it by the week. I also have extra LGMH for ideas I come up with, I mean you all come up with.I have the binder by the day of the week with the park we will be going to..I still have lots of mini notes to add, but to me it helps me get a grip on my plans..

You gals and guys are great. I love the ideas!!!!! I am going to start pulling mine together this week.:goodvibes

I've made a 3 in., 3 ring binder and a spiral bound book, and I'm currently working on a blog so my boyfriend and 2 friends can follow what I'm doing so they can be in the loop, since they're the ones going with me. Also, that way my family can follow what we do.

The notebook is pretty basic, it has all of the print outs for pretty much EVERYTHING and anything that we may be interested in. How DDP works (we're doing the deluxe one) and so forth. Everything it it's own little place separated by type and it also has a day to day itinerary.

The spiral bound book I have is something I bought from my university bookstore that you use for papers. It's really nice. I've printed out the important semi-finalized stuff (prices, etc. that change are marked since I'm using 2008 rates for our 2009 trip right now).

And the blog is how they follow it all (I don't have enough paper to print out stuff for all 4 of us. Haha.) and on the right it has a list of "labels" to help them go right to the post they need to read about. And that's going to be updated a ton between now and the end of our trip and I'll have it day to day posted of the trip when we go.
:yay:
