Do you have a certain ride that you always ride first in each park?

At Epcot: Soarin'. We always head there first thing and don't see that changing anytime soon.\

At DHS: Tower of Terror. We go here first and often ride it at least twice before moving on. That might change as my daughter is currently 47 and a half inches as we might do RNRC first, then ToT twice.

At Animal Kingdom: We head straight to Expedition Everest every time.

At Magic Kingdom: That is the only park we don't automatically have a specific ride we head to first. Usually, it's Splash Mountain. We might do Space Mountain first at times, but it's usually Splash or Thunder Mountain.

Not because it's a favorite or anything, but simply for tradition. We always ride Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin as our first ride upon arriving at Disney World. It just happened to be the first ride on one trip and has since become tradition. It's always on our travel day, so we are arriving mid-day. We don't ride it first on our actual park days where we do rope drop, just on the day we first arrive at The World.

As far as other days, we always rope drop and it varies each day.

Prior to FP+, yes. Space Mountain, Safari Ride, TSMM and Soarin' were always our first stops. FP+ has altered this a bit, so, no. Now, we no longer have a "must do first" other than the Safari Ride at AK. That said, we tend to book FPs for TSMM now, and head directly to RnR when we go t DHS.

Our first ride, at MK, has become the Peoplemover. Our daughter has autism and it is a a nice, easy and fun way to get her acclimated to being in WDW. 2nd ride is BUZZ!

Prior to FP+ ours were traditionally always:

MK: PotC

Epcot: Spaceship Earth

AK: Dinosaur

DHS: TOT

Nope. I was going to say we usually turn left and ride BTMRR first, but on our last trip we turned right and rode Space Mountain twice first thing!

Other parks, no, it varies.

Our first ride when we first get to MK is always People Mover so we can wave hello to the park as we pass by various things. Silly? Yes, but it's tradition. You can't break tradition. LOL!

We usually end up hitting Epcot or MK first, so if it's Epcot we do Nemo and if it's MK we try to get to Ariel. Both are so well done, it eases so well into the magic.

I'm not sure it just always seems as though those rides kind of summarize the theme of the whole park and really sets the tone for the rest of the time at that park. For Magic Kingdom it really just depends but usually it involves going through the castle and doing something Fantasyland.

Always used to be Splash. Now it is Peter Pan.

MK- Peter Pan. We like it a lot- not enough to FP or wait in a long line though! We just hit it first thing so we can do it without any trouble.
AK- Kilimanjaro Safari - just a tradition and a nice way to start the day.
Epcot- Soarin'! because I LOVE it. Not sure what we will ride first this trip since it is down.
HS- usually Rock N Roller Coaster.

We never have a specific ride we ride. However we always have a specific park we start and end our vacation with. Always start with MK and end with AK. Until this year!!

at DL, we have ALWAYS hit Pirates of the Caribbean and then The Haunted Mansion. I have no idea why but that is what we did.

Now at WDW we will have to start new traditions! I'm watching this thread for ideas!
