Do you have a certain ride that you always ride first in each park?

MK: Splash Mountain if someone is with me, if not then JC
EPCOT: Spaceship Earth
AK: Safari

We have always done the ones we wanted to try and ride more than once prior to FP+, so we would ride 1st thing, and then pull a FP for later. We are basically still doing the same thing with TSMM in HS and Safari in AK, which we will FP to do again later. In Epcot, we have changed to FP Soarin and run to TT since the tiering, and then switch if we have a second day there. MK is the one where we don't have a specific ride, but we do try to do pre-park opening brft at CP and enjoy some quieter time taking in Main St. and the castle, as well as decorations(usually go at Thanksgiving time so Christmas decor is up). Or if it is EMH, we go to open rides like PP(and now 7DMT) that will have lines later, and leave FP open for other rides later.

MK is always our 1st park and the 1st ride is always POTC

Peter Pan in MK to beat the crowd (if I don't have FP for Seven Dwarfs, that would be first), Test Track or Soarin' in EPCOT, depending on which ride I don't have a FP for, Toy Story in DHS and Everest in AK.

99% of the time, I just go on whatever we walk across first, if the line isn't huge.

However, in Epcot, I tend to always jump on Spaceship Earth right away. It's right there when you walk in, and it just looks "cool", and it makes me want to go look around inside. But maybe that's just me, lol

MK: peter pan's flight. we enjoy it but we won't wait an hour for it.

EP: prior to FP+ we'd always go to soarin and then get a FP for TT. but now we get a FP+ for soarin for mid/late morning and head straight to TT first thing. we like doing it this way better because we like eating at sunshine seasons for lunch so the timing of being in the land just works out better.

HS: RNRC twice and then TOT twice.

AK: we don't go there much but when we do we won't really have a specific first ride.

I am flexible with the first ride, though it does always end up being the same ones because of rope drop priority, (Sorain', TSMM). I do however always start a trip at MK and by riding the Jungle Cruise.

We always do the Magic Kingdom Sandwich so our first ride is always there. Usually Its a Small World which became a tradition for my family when I was little and now its the one I always go on first when me and my fiancé visit. If its down we do Mickey's Philharmagic since that always sets the right tone for the trip :)

MK we always ride Buzz first, it's a tradition. EPCOT its always Spaceship Earth, a favorite for my oldest son (6) and mine. AK we always ride the Safari first. And at DHS it's Toy Story Mania.

Prior to FP+ I was a creature of habit, but now....the lines at things like Spaceship Earth make me roll my eyes and move on to another location. It used to be:

MK: It's a Small World
Epcot: Spaceship Earth
AK: Safari
DHS: We didn't have a regular stop here. It was often TSM, but if the line was too long we would hit another (no longer in existence) location.

We always start our trips off at Magic Kingdom, and the first ride of the trip is Space Mountain.

MK - Space Mountain
AK- Kilimanjari safari
DS - TOT
Epcot-Test Track

going with my grandchild this fall so I may have to switch this up a bit. Maybe Mermaid ride in MK will be first this year. Time for new traditions

I've been thinking about our next trip (our second) and what we want to keep the same from last time...

Our first rides in each park were:
DHS: Star Tours
MK: BTMRR
Epcot: Mission Space
AK: I can't remember exactly, but I think it was EE!

I loved BTMRR to open MK, and was planning it again... until they moved the refurb dates! BOO!
I think we'll keep EE at AK, but probably go for TT at Epcot and I'm not sure about DHS- I need to check out some decent touring plans since all this stuff closed!

I don't know why, but my wife's family always rides The Haunted Mansion first - and because she took me there for the first time, it's what we do! I love it, though, it's fun to march over to Liberty Square and do it. Then you can go to Fantasyland or Adventureland/Frontierland really easily. Plus, I absolutely love THM.

MK - Splash or Haunted Mansion (whichever we didnt' do first the year before)
EPCOT - Test Track
HS - TSMM
AK - Safari
