Do you use them both? That seems to be a must have for a lot of folks on all those home shopping/improvement shows.

My bathroom in my parents house had 2 sinks. Never used the right sink in the 22 years I lived in that house. When I sold it 53 years after my parents bought it, the faucets on the right sink were frozen in place (by rust I presume) from lack of use.

Our ONLY bathroom is barely big enough for ONE person. So unless the second person is in the shower, two people wouldn't fit.

My parents house the second/guest bathroom had duel sinks. Which was nice because this was the bathroom that my sister and I used growing/as teens.

Hubby has his sink and I have my sink. His is higher.
The kids have a jack and Jill bathroom so each have a sink and then they share the toilet and tub.

One sink in each bathroom but we have 2 1/2 bathrooms. Haven't had the need for double sinks

No double sinks in my house. Built with 2 bathrooms, added a half a bath 25 years ago when my son was 7 and my daughter was 3. Never had to share a bathroom that way. Son is married and out of the house and DD is in the process of moving into a house she just bought. So soon we'll have more bathrooms than people

We have two bathrooms with two sinks and two with one sink. They all get used. My wife doesn’t like me using hers so I stay in my designated area and my teen and 10 yo daughters have a jack and Jill bath with a sink in each of their rooms. There is a shared tub/shower and toilet between the rooms. My son has his own bath that is shared with anyone upstairs and we have a powder downstairs.

It might sound big but it is a typical Texas track house.

I'm an "I wish we did". Our previous house had two sinks in the ensuite and we each had our own side, even though we were rarely in the bathroom together. I loved it.

Our master has two sinks. I wouldn’t buy a house with just one. DH’s is on one side, and mine is on the other end, with the tub separating them. I have about triple the counter space he does, so it’s good for me. Our guest bathroom has a single sink, there’s a single sink upstairs in that bathroom, and DD connects to a Jack and Jill, so she has a sink and the other bedroom has a sink, Those two bedrooms share a toilet and Tub/ shower.

Same. Master bath has two sinks on the same counter top. Both get used, but extremely rare at the same time.

Not where I currently live. However, I still own and used to live in a house where there was this huge vanity setup connected to the master bedroom. Two side by sinks and way too much counter space and cabinets. It was L-shaped where the short end had no sink. Also separate from shower and toilet, which was in a small room with a door.

Still - where I live now the main bathroom has a separate shower and bathtub side by side. I remember a similar setup in a childhood house.

I don't specifically have that now where I live, but we do have a downstairs half bath that we rarely use. My kid doesn't like going down there. But every once in a while I'll go down there It's not rusted in place, but if it's been a while rust comes out of the tap until it runs clear again. Not sure where it's coming from since it's mostly copper and brass pipes.

We have two, so we each have our own. We both agree we don't need them though. We're rarely at the sinks at the same time. I'd rather have the counter space. We need counter mirror space, but the running water isn't really an issue. We could easily share a sink in the middle.

The house I grew up in had a 3/4 "master" bath, but the bigger bath that we kids shared had two sinks. We used them both constantly so it was very helpful. I can think of many times when 3 of us were in there brushing our teeth etc. at the same time. My own kid's bath - the "guest" bath, has one sink and a long counter. I've often been jealous of the counter space in there. They didn't need it. There were only two of them, so sharing wasn't really an issue either - although if the sink had been in the middle of the counter it would be easier for them to share if they were both in there.

If there's anywhere I'd like to have two sinks it's in the kitchen. That is a room where there's a crowd needing sink access!

I would love it if we had two sinks for the kids bathroom. 3 girls getting ready in the morning could use the two sinks and extra space. DH and I are one at at time in the bathroom. Even on vacation when we often have two sinks, we rarely use them at the same time but the girls take it over.

We have a double sink in our master bath and we use both. BUT... if we only had one sink, that would be fine too. The thing I do like is how much counter space that vanity has.

We put two sinks in our master, and two sinks in the kid's bathroom upstairs. The other 2 bathrooms are single-sinked.

There's 3 kids so they use the 2 constantly. On the other hand, my husband and I hardly use the left sink in our master, but I think this is mostly due to the layout of the vanity -- it's a 60" vanity that's original to the home (1960's) and we put a new top on it and painted it, which is fine but it only has one set of drawers all the way to the right so that's where our toothbrushes and all that are, so by default we both just use the right sink. In a couple of years when we re-do the bathroom again I'll get a better vanity with drawers on both ends, and then we'd be able to separate our items on each end. For now, I guess I at least don't need to wipe down that sink as often, lol. It gets more dusty than dirty.

I have one sink/vanity in the only bathroom in the house and it is a small bathroom. When my kids were still home it created some issues in the morning but only with the girls. I'm getting the bathroom redone in the upcoming year, thankfully at cost since my grandson does house remodeling, and the one change I am making is NO vanity. I am tired of my head getting stuck when I need to clean the area, it is that small. The size and one sink never bothered us as we only use the bathroom for what it is designed for and do not linger.
