Do you have a 2009 calender?

I am on every list for animal causes out there and at present have 4 different calendars I have been sent during the fall and then asked for a donation. I usually just go with this because they are as nice as any other and I feel good about it.

Do you keep a calender hanging in your kitchen? Did you pay for it?

I don't have a 2009 calender yet. I have always kept one hanging by the kitchen desk near the phone.
We usually get a free one at the end of the prior year but we haven't yet. I did look at one at the store the other day but it cost $13.95, so I didn't get it. I need one to keep track of appointments, important dates, etc.
I am wondering if most people pay for their calenders, generally speaking?

We bought 3 at Borders after Christmas for 1/2 price. One for the kitchen, one for our office and one for me to take to work.

Well you will be horrified to learn that I have saved all my calendars since my dd's were born....:rotfl:

At first I did it because my dd was very sick and we had to know exact dates of things for a long while.

Then I just just kept saving them.

My dd is 17 now and she asked me about this and that when she was a baby and I can pull out the calendars and everything we done is written down.

Okay, then you are in good company, because for some reason I still have my calenders from the last 3 years too...ever since my first son was born!!!

I have a question....why would there be a need for more than one calender? Is there some secret organizing tip I'm missing? I would think that having more than one would get confusing...especially if you didn't copy the appts onto all of them...:confused3

I actually got one on our door by our neighborhood association today. This is the first time that has ever happened, of course it came with an invoice for our $25 annual dues....
I do prefer to buy them and usually get it in later Jan/early Feb so I can get the style I prefer though.

I bought a Villain's calendar last weekend that is still sitting on my table waiting to be moved to the kitchen wall :rolleyes1

I got a free one for the kitchen through AAA and Shutterfly. I got to make a collage calendar online and then got it shipped to me free. :goodvibes

I also bought an Ansel Adams calendar for the hall for 75% off at the calendar kiosk in the mall. :)

I got two as Christmas gifts from my DGD - one for here (in my bedroom) and one for at the lake..

Normally I just buy them in the Dollar Store..:)

I got all my calendars for free. I have not bought a calendar in long time. If I could get one for free I would make one from the computer.

I got mine! It was 50% off at Borders right after Christmas.

Everybody who has seen it thinks I'm a dork, but I love my 'Nuns Having Fun' calendar. :lmao:

We have a 'couples calendar' in the kitchen. It has three columns, one for each of us and a third which is meant for birthdays, but we use that one for the dog. :rotfl: It also has a pocket where you can put things like invites etc. Very handy.
