Do you grocery shop only once a week?

When we lived in the apartment we were at the grocery store almost every day...but now that we're in the house we shop once a week....typically on Saturday. Our first stop is the Farmers Market for melons, peppers, and tomato's....then we go to Whole Foods for the rest of the produce (cherries, grapes, banana's) and veggies.....then we head to Harris Teeter for other grocery items. Our biggest goal is to get enough for the week and then we restock on Saturday again. However I do need to pick up more bread tonight if we're going to pack our lunches for the rest of the week.

I go a lot. I do most of my shopping on my lunch hours at work. We have a full size fridge here to put the food in until I leave. I have 4 different grocery stores within a mile from work. I love a good deal, so I may pop into 2 or 3 stores within the week to pick up the good buys.

What I like about this is I NEVER have to shop on the weekends. Once Friday afternoon hits, its on my way home to spend good quality time with my family. No running errands!!

I purchase most of our "pantry" and frozen items through a co-op and pick it up every 4 week. I shop at Costco about every other week for milk, produce, paper goods etc. I stop by kroger 1-2 times a week on the way home form Karate to pick up salad, milk (if we run out) and a few items that I can not get through the co-op or at Costco. I love to go to Harry's but it is about 25 miles away. I get by there 1x a month or so to buy supplements and a few items I can't find anywhere else (such as ethnic seasonings, organic soy sauce etc).
