Depends.

On the days when my boss is living doll, I get to work early.

On days when my boss is a real horse's ***, I get to work late or not at all.

Btw, I'm an independent contractor and run a small business from home.

Unfortunately I'm always early. Even when I try to be late I'm still early.

At least 10 min early every day. When it comes to showing up for something(work or otherwise) I have three rules:
1)To be early is to be on time.
2)To be on time is to be late.
3)To be late is totally unacceptable.

I leave my house 20 minutes before work and it only takes 5 minutes to get there. Sometimes I sit in the car for a little while, but I'm usually 10-15 minutes early, unlike most people who I work with that are usually late everyday.

Usually a little bit early or right on time if I am running late. I can count on one hand the number of times I was late to work.

I work 6:30AM - 3:00PM so I can't get there too much earlier
