Sometimes the news tries to make it out that millions are protesting the war.

Of course, they also say on CNN that the most resent polls show 2/3 Americans agree with it.

And, one more thing, are the taxpayers paying more just to have police at all these protests to ensure they remain peaceful or are the police who are usually on duty talking time away from what they should/could be doing? What a waste for thse officers.

One part of the news that I dislike is that they spin things to make it more dramatic that it actually is.

And yes, we have to pay for the police, not only with money, but with the fact that they are too busy to do the job they should be doing instead.

I heard a reporter say on MSNBC this morning that the protestors were mad at the media for not giving them enough air time. Frankly, I think they get too much as it is.
