I have been to WDW 27 times and have been sick on several trips. We have stopped travelling during hot weather as I have a very difficult time dealing with the heat. I have had stomach problems twice, but I believe it was heat-related. We now enjoy travelling in October (our favorite), Nov. and Dec. I have had lots of colds at WDW and almost always lose my voice the first day there. I don't know if it's the temperature change or what! I don't think I'm catching something while I'm there though because I usually get sick the first or second day. So either I'm picking something up at home (we are now travelling at the beginning of flu season...) or I'm just reacting to the change in environment.
My 2-yo was very sick during our last trip, but she became ill (cold, fever) the first or second day we were there. My 4-yo has never been sick at WDW in 6 trips, and my DH has never been sick there after many, many trips.
Interesting thread! Thanks for the tips!
