Do you get a new planning book each year?

I just love the 2008-09 vacation planning book that we received with all of our documents when we made our purchase. But was wondering do you get a new one each year?

Yes. You'll notice that the non-DVC collections only have charts for this year, so we'll get a new book with the 2009 points for those places. If, for some reason, they change the points for the DVC resorts it'll be reflected in the new books. And, of course, any changes to the non-DVC resorts (for example, there are far fewer options in the Concierge collection that I remember from last year) will be documented.

The information is sent annually, but the format varies. Originally they were insert sheets for a large 3 ring binder that members received with purchase. Sometimes it is mre of a pamphlet, and every few years they send a pretty nice booklet.

I just saw the planning book,for the first time, but its not mine, it is our friends who owns DVC as well. Will I get a book ? We bought through the TSS back in December. Our UY is September, will the book come then when we get our annual points or did we miss the boat buying resale ?

No you didn't miss the boat, I purchased through resales as well, and once you get entered into the DVC computer you will receive your book and mailings and notices just like the rest of us!

If it's since Dec, you might want to call member services.

Call about it. We purchased resale and just closed in June. We got our planner a couple of weeks ago.
