Do you frost your brownies or

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE brownies and have several recipes and I'm always making a different one (and a few box mixes I love too that are quicker). I have only 1 that I make with frosting. It's an awesome recipe and the frosting is the best frosting ever! But I'd say 95% of the time my brownies are naked!

To my way of thinking, brownies with frosting just have too much sweet coming at me all at once. A few bites are fun, then I just get kind of sick to my stomach.

Personally, as long as brownies are not cake-like, I don't care if they have frosting or not. If they're really gooey, they're good without the frosting and extras.

I prefer them plain but my nephews really really love those andes mint ones so I make those sometimes.

Nope if brownies are good they don't need frosting. To me if it's frosted it's cake.

Brownie Froster Here!! DH doesn't like frosting though, he just wants confectioners sugar, so that's what I USUALLY do.

The best brownie I've ever had was at Boma.

I got the recipe from allears.

They're topped with a mixture of melted semi-sweet chocolate, white chocolate & whipping cream.

They're very fudge-like.

Took them to a church potluck & had many compliments on my "fudge". Even had someone who didn't believe me when I said they were brownies.

Powdered sugar....just a light dusting on top. I don't like frosting on brownies.

I make mine, then frost them, then put another brownie on top of it and make frosted brownie sandwiches. I've done them that way for 10 years or so and its the only way I've made them since I started doing that. I usually use cream cheese frosting, it tastes the best with the brownies to me anyway.

Good brownies don't need frosting! They also don't need nuts, but that's a serious debate for another time.

I wholeheartedly agree. NO nuts. I like my brownies undiluted.

Caramel or chocolate chips are okay. Even mint sounds good. Just no nuts!

Not frosted, but you have to undercook the brownies alittle and serve warm with a big glass of milk. It's almost like fudge. I also love the cupcakes with chocolate chips and cream cheese in the middle(warm) yum!
