leave them naked?

As I sit at my desk eating a frosted brownie I am pondering this question.

Personally I have never had a frosted brownie, that just doesn't usually come in the mixes I buy. My bosses wife made them and he brought them in to share....a very good breakfast I might add!

Nope if brownies are good they don't need frosting. To me if it's frosted it's cake.

I do but I also add marshmellows. Right before my brownies are done I top with marshmellows, they become bubbly. When cool, I frost with milk chocolate frosting and sprinkle chopped pecans.

Naked. But I like them warm with ice cream and caramal sauce.

Mmmmmmm, frosted brownies are yummy! May I also suggest you try M & M's on your brownies some time. Just sprinkle a nice healthy layer and then bake. I think I know what I'm doing today..... :goodvibes

Unfrosted!!

Best breakfast is warm gooey brownie with a cold glass of milk. It's the breakfast of champions. :lmao: :cheer2:

all depends on what mood i'm in. sometimes we frost them with all kinds of things -- cream cheese, caramel sauce, icing and m&ms, peanut butter -- other times, they are best left naked!

Naked.
A good brownie needs no frosting.
I do sometimes add chocolate chips to the batter though :)

No frosting. Like others have said a good brownie needs nothing extra. This is assuming there are chocolate peices and walnuts already mixed in. :thumbsup2

DH often sprinkle confectioner's sugar on top whne they are done baking. He picked it up from his mom. I think it's mostl;y for decoration, but it's still good! I enjoy brownies both ways, but if you frost it has to be chocolate only and the brownie can't be too "fudgie" or else it's just too rich.

Sometimes but I use chopped up Ande's mints, sprinkle them on the brownies when you take them out of the oven, let them sit for a few minutes so they melt and spread. These are OH so yummy.

To frost or not to frost that is the question... :rotfl: My kids like them frosted and my husband doesn't. It just depends on if I have frosting in the pantry at the time.

That sounds like brownie heaven!!

But I love my brownies nakid.

Good brownies don't need frosting! They also don't need nuts, but that's a serious debate for another time.

ps. That Andes candy trick sounds yummy! Good brownies can have some mint!

I sprinkle confectioners sugar on mine, too. :teeth: Makes them pretty--plus there's evidence on dd's shirt if she tries to sneak one.

I like to put a layer of densely packed chocolate chips on top of the batter just before baking - indescribeably delicious :cool1:

My favorite brownies (made from scratch with Ghirardelli chocolate) aren't frosted, but I certainly wouldn't be so presumptutous as to turn away a frosted brownie if one were offered to me! ;)

Usually naked. Sometimes cover with a layer of peanut butter and then frost with chocolate frosting...YUM.
