We're going to Disney for free dining and we are having a very hard time picking restaurants. We still don't have our final one yet!
All the menus look really exotic or yucky.

Do you have a hard time picking restaurants?

I am a plain eater and don't like exotic or funky stuff. The only part of picking restaurants I find hard is that I want too many. Trust me, even plain eaters can find many great meals in Disney World. :thumbsup2

Yep, I have a hard time, but it's because all of the restauarants sound absolutely wonderful and delicious that I can't seem to make up my mind! LOL I always seem to go back to my favorites and do them over and over again. This trip I'm forcing myself to try some restaurants that I've never tried before....which I've been dying to try but couldn't bring myself to not go to my favorites as well. This trip we're going to try for the first time: California Grill, San Angel and Ragland Road. We'll also be going to two of my favorites because I just can't go to Disney and not go to them: Boma and Marrakesh.

DS is a somewhat picky eater. He isn't big on most meats but will eat pasta and most veggies. We have been able to find something on most menus that he will eat - sometimes it requires a little creative planning, like choosing from the appetizers or mix and match a la carte items. Since we don't do free dining this has never been a problem for us.

You may have to ask about a la carte as it usually isn't mentioned on the menu.

I always have a hard time because we don't like a lot of noise while eating (tough at a theme park, I know) and so many veggies make me sick to my stomach, and so many dishes have some sort of veggie sauce or stir-fry thing going. But then I do always find at least two or three things on any menu that I just HAVE to try, and can't pick the restaurant! :rotfl:

Right now I'm second-guessing WC and am trying to decide if I want to try something else. Gah.

Maybe you should do more of a buffet style restaurant. The menu to most character buffets cover a wide variety of food. Can't go wrong with that. :thumbsup2

Yes, we have Crystal Palace for two meals and Chef Mickeys for another.
