Do you ever listen to AM Radio?

I lsten to AM alot durring basketball season - all of Uof L's games are broadcast on WHAS84 AM. I've even been known to mute the TV and turn on the radio whike watching the game b/c I like the local announcers better than some of the network announcers.

Yes, I enjoy many of the talk show hosts on AM radio. I will occasionally listen to Rush, Sean Hannity, Michael Reagan and local guys/gals too. I love Dr. Dean Edell too.

AM 1560 Radio Disney out of New York while in the car. There are times I will listen while in the house but the background hiss sometimes is to much to bear.

I listen to AM talk radio on weekdays. Weekends are for CD's and I have not listened to FM for a loooonnnnggg time.

I listen to Newsradio 88 frequently (I'm in the New York area) and Radio Disney.

I know what you're saying about lousy morning radio programs, GG. It's the same thing here. Although since I'm not commuting to work any longer, I don't really listen to radio in the morning anymore.

Almost exclusively. When I'm on the road it's "traffic and weather together on the 8's" on the local all news station. During lunch I listen to Jim Rome on one of the local all sports stations. Needless to say my DW hates driving with me!

Hey Deana, Some digital cable providers and (I think) Direct TV have added Radio Disney to their music channels. IF you have either, check it out!

I start my morning with Tpo 40 on FM, then at 9 am I switch to AM for the rest of the work day. Local guy from 9 - 11, Glen Beck from 11 - 2, and Don and Mike from 2 until I leave.

I listen to some sports talk radio, some financial talk radio and some oldies on AM....i avoid the political shows (they irritate me). AM is about all I will listen too if i dont have a cd.

Thanks, I just checked the cable line up and its on chanel 940 here. Now ds wants to listen and I am listening to my Soap. I guess its off to the bedroom for him.

I listen to WOWO in Fort Wayne everyday. I love the noon news. It has Paul Harvey, James Dobson and Kim Camando plus the news and weather updates. If I don't have a book on tape that I am listening to, I will listen to Glen Beck, but I can't take him everyday.
