...when going round the parks or do you have them with you at all times? :sunny:

I used to have my camera with me all the time for that 'just in case' moment, but for the last couple of years will sometimes leave it behind in the hotel room. Of course there have been times when I've been mad that I haven't had it with me, but occasionally I risk it! :)

How about you?

I'm the camcorder guy in our group and I take it along only during the early part of the day(i.e, if we're at Epcot in the morning then go to MGM in the afternoon, the camcorder stays in the car for the second part of the day). Also if we go to a park more than one time, I only take it the first time. Lugging stuff around the parks is no fun.

I am responsible for the camcorder & DW gets to use the camera..they are with us all the time..:)

My last two trips, I had my camera with me at all times. I didn't want to risk missing anything. I think I will always have it with me on all my trips :)

Only took a camcorder to WDW twice, never took it out of the room though, LOL. Now the camera is another story, never have I left the room without it. :teeth:

Hey Dan - we're the same - The camcorder always comes, and only makes it to the pools or to the Boardwalk - never to a park! The camera - well, sometimes, but rarely.

Yeah, me too...I lug the camcorder to Orlando only to leave it sitting in the room. We go to WDW twice a year at least, and I have a total of about 2 hours of tape.

OTOH, I always have at least one camera with me and usually we have both the 35mm and the digital. I'd hate to miss a special character moment.

We've taken a camcorder a few times. It got the most use when we had the grandchildren with us. My wife usually takes a camera along, but not to the parks every time. Last year, the camera never left the room.

Personally, I prefer to travel light and even have a simple wallet that I use at WDW that I use to carry the room cards, a credit card, and some cash for the day. Lately, I also add drivers licenses for photo ID if needed. Everything else stays in the safe back at the room.

Last trip, I took 22 rolls of film... obviously, the camera goes with me everywhere!! :)

I normally take a small 35mm compact with me always, but will occasionally leave it in a locker with other stuff. Sometimes it's nice just to wander round without anything 'attached' and not be looking at things 'through a camera lens'.

I bring the camcorder to WDW but it usually only comes out of the room with a specific subject in mind, like Illuminations or one of the parades or shows. The camera, however, is almost always with me...but I will occasionally leave that behind as well.

I've noticed these past couple of trips that I've been willing to drag along less and less now that I don't have a stroller along to toss it all into ;) :p

I almost always have a cemera almost never take the video
