I am on this weird waffle kick. I usually don't like sweet stuff for breakfast. Waffles, Pancakse, French Toast, but for some reason I have the weirdest thing for waffles going on. Before this I never even had syrup in the house. :confused3

Naw! Never happens to me! (And if you believe this, I have this bridge I can sell you... ;) )

Right now I have this thing for the little packs of Pringles pizza sticks. OMG.

Sayhello

I might be interested in a bridge...lol, JK!

I have been on a Mexican kick lately- quesadillas, tacos, rice and beans...yum!!

My kick is (currently) strawberries!! :cutie: It is strawberry season and I am happy as can be!! :woohoo: I dip them in Equal, put in my cereal, on my toast in the mornings and best of all? I made a strawberry yogurt & cool whip pie last night... YUM! :cutie: My husband says I am going to turn pink soon! ;)

We got on a stir fry kick after a Dis meet in Boston to Fire&Ice last year and we made stir fry a few times a few weeks ago. Right now we are eating a lot of paninis that we make on whole grain tortillas from Costco on our GF grill. We had pulled pork on the tortillas last week too! Great source of protein and fiber!

My DH says I make gorditas and TJs orange chicken too often. I used to make TJs potstickers too often as well.

Well, when I was pregnant I just loved pancakes and waffles for breakfast with choc. chips, fruit, and whipcream! And sometimes ice cream on it too. :rotfl:

I'm always on a Mexican food kick. I make it alot. You wouldn't believe how fast this family goes through salsa. The other day we ran out. What a crisis!

In the summer I put avacado on everything. In the winter, the avacados come from another country and are not as good, so I pass them up until they say California on them.

You're not alone....ever since my surgery, I can't get enough Milk...not sure what the relationship is though

Mine for the last couple of weeks has been root beer floats, and just root beer. I usually don't even drink root beer.:confused3

I got hit by a car a few years ago and for months afterward I craved black-and-white cookies. It turned out that my jaw was badly damaged, so I think my brain was directing me towards soft foods. Currently, I am obsessed with the roasted vegetables that the office cafeteria serves on the salad bar. I've been eating roasted Brussels sprouts and parsnips almost every day. Yum!

I don't know if this counts, but I've eaten chocolate almost every day of my life since I was born.

Right now mine is special k bars. Sounds healthy enough, but they're the chocolate covered pretzel kind, so really it's dessert cleverly packaged as a special k bar  I could eat a whole box in a day if I didnt stop myself... Hmm, at 500 cal for the whole box, maybe that should be my new diet, just special k bars and milk, maybe some fruit thrown in for good measure :rotfl2:

Mexican food has been my weakness for the past few weeks. We have this really great little mexican restaurant in town and they have the BEST chicken chimichangas. I actually just had that for lunch. :lmao:

This isn't really a food, but I'm hooked on Brisk half and half tea. I drink that stuff like it's going out of style.

My kicks are usually wanting to get healthy so I have to spend extra on organic food, then I see how much I am spending and do the coupon and Sam's Club thing for a while. :dance3:

Absolutely !

And sadly, it's usually food that's not too good for me...

A few months back it was albacore tuna, with chopped garlic and olive oil. (Well, that's not TOO bad, come to think of it...)

I had to have it every afternoon like clockwork for weeks. Then suddenly one day... blah.... I didn't want it any longer.

Now, it's those Nissan Ramen noodle things. Not the kind in the blocks or styrofoam cups, but the new kind that come in those black plastic rectangular containers with the seperate "vegetable" packet.

Salt city, I know, but gotta have one every day.

It'll pass eventually - like all the other "kicks" do.

Where they come from and where they go I have NO idea.

Go figure. :confused3

Right now, I am trying to really read labels and eat healthier- need to lose a significant amount of weight and want to be healthier in general. At lunch, I've been eating ham or turkey on Flat Out wraps- lots of fiber and low calories. Also, instead of having dessert at night, I eat a Fiber One bar. Also having lots of fresh fruits and veggies as snacks- nectarines, pineapple, and strawberries are favorites.

When we go out, I have been wanting sushi all the time. We also had a great new asian market open near our house, so I've been doing lots of Thai stir fry and making lots of steamed dumplings.

I just read this to DH who grinned as he munched on a Quaker Oats Chocolate Chewy Dip--same principle.

I get on food kicks all the time! For a while all I ate was my version of PF Changs Spicy Chicken that I did with Pam spray vs fried/battered chicken lightly dusted with cornstarch then add sugar snap peas or broccoli and a sauce I make with hot chili sauce! Yum!!! Then I discovered the sesame oil in my sauce was loaded with extra fat I decided to leave off. Still a yummy recipe. Lower calorie!!! Now I'm on Amy's Organic Frozen foods to take to work since I'm commuting 3 hours a day for work ! Mexican but I'm nit gonna last much longer after 4
Weeks!!! Sigh! Got Tuna waiting! And Oatmeal for breakfast that I'm adding lots if different stuff into!!! Raisins, natural applesauce! I'd almost kill for a donut at this point lol
