I will try absolutely anywhere for a holiday and the only really bad one I've ever had was in Malta, therefore I don't even 'sell' Malta, if anyone asks specifically to go there I'll ask them 'are you sure?' I can't stand the place. other than that I'm always getting people saying 'you should go to such and such you'll love it!' which makes me laugh - how do they know what I'll love?
by the way - I love Cyprus its one of the best all year round suit anyone destinations out there

My brother always says 'do you not want to try somewhere different?' when we tell him that we have booked for Orlando again!

Me and DBF both used to work for BA and got to see lots of different places very cheaply. We still choose to keep going back to Orlando as it is our favourite place and we both feel so happy when we are there

i think malta is a place you love or loathe, we loved it and have been several times: in fact when i first went to cyprus i was so dissapointed that it was't like malta lol. but it eventually grew on me nw i love them both. my friend hated malta, she said it was justa miserable bit of rock

I hated Malta as when I went with a girlfriend (we were 19) we were attacked, abused, kidnapped and my friend was the victim of an attempted rape, so no wonder we hated it!

I get a ot of these comments as I am doing a solo trip in September. They range from its only for kids so why not take your sisters,to how can you enjoy a holiday solo because they can't and you can't possibly enjoy a resteraunt meal alone.

My dad used to try and get me to all sorts of places that he wanted me to go to and just couldn't understand why I wanted to go the same place again. And it was made even worse by the fact it was Florida, as this was not his cup of tea at all!!

I felt really guilty spending part of my inheritance on DVC

Its pretty useless listening to other people really as everyone likes to do different things on holiday, stay in different types of accomadation, go at different times of the year etc etc etc

Cyprus for example is nice but its just the same as any greek Island really.

What is useful is where to stay away from, eg bad hotels that are dirty or travel agents that give a bad service.

Most of our friends have pre-conceived ideas about Orlando and can never believe it when we say we are going "again". They think it's just for the children --- and find it impossible to believe that I actually enjoy it too!

I've found when I tell people where we are going next year (we've never been to Florida before) they say 'bet the children are excited' yes but not as much as ME!!!!
