Do you ever feel SNUBBED on certain boards?

Thanks, Saffron, Buckalew, and all. Buckalew, 2 of my dogs are named Wilma and Freddie (both girls). I used to have Barney, too, but he died 2 years ago . So, as you can imagine, I'm a big Flintstones fan, as well. Now, I have 2 dogs named Lucy and Desi, too (girls, too). My username is after my Wilma. We call her "Wilmabud, Queen of the Universe."

I don't really feel snubbed if I kill a post or even if I don't get many replies to a thread I started. I think we've all had that experience. What kills me though is to reply to a thread and have nobody notice. Someone else can say the exact same thing several posts later and get all these comments about their new perspective as if I hadn't said it earlier. That makes me feel invisible!

Trust me, just a semi-small crowd on the DIS CON board, but if you post for a bit over there, you will fit right in. Would hate to think that you would not come to DIS CON for that reason!

I guess I don't feel snubbed because I realize that everyone on the board has some different interests. There are some who have been here longer and have formed friendships off the board also. I answer the questions that interest me and occassionally start a new thread, but not very often. Not because I feel it won't float, so to speak, but because so many topics are already covered.

I usually don't read every thread or even every other one. There are way too many, so I tend to look for subject lines that interest me. That means that there are some I avoid like very general ones and the ones for pixie dust or prayers (not because I don't care but because I prefer to look at the happy and upbeat...I have to pray and give PD to plenty of people I know off the internet that I use the internet as an escape from it).
