I hate when I respond seriously to a person's question, only to come to the conclusion that I (or "we") have been played. Someone (usually a newbie) will ask a perfectly fine question & being the good sport that I am, will give a respectable answer. Then, they go on to pose more qustions with new threads - it all adds up to "troll". And here I was, trying to be nice to someone!
sheesh - enough to make me a lurker only!

Or no wait, they were little ugly dolls that everyone played with awhile back?
on the boards sometimes after answering a dummy question, or answering a question that everyone else seems to be in on except of course, for me
! I try to check to see about other questions they have asked, sometimes they ask the same question on 3 other boards. I caught myself today when I was going to answer a question and then looked at the other questions the poster had asked (they only had 6 other posts) they all looked like prank posts so I avoided answering the one that sounded reasonable
.(What the heck is that tilt smilie for anyway? )
