Anyone ever dream that are in Disney World?? (or am I the only nut out there! ) Some times I dream I'm in Disney World...it doesn't always look like Disney World, but it FEELS like Disney World....you know...the magical feeling you have when you are walking down Main St., the outside world left behind beyond the gates. No worries, complete contentment......:Pinkbounc

Disney isn't a name...isn't a place....it a state of mind!! :teeth:

Why dream...when you can live it!
Within a 5 mile radius...we have Italian, Greek, Japanese, Indian, Chinese, Mexican, French and German restaurants!
I get in my car, get on the highway and it is like Test Track!
My kids ask me for money...it is Fantasyland! (for them)

When I have dreams about Disney they are usually nightmares for some strange reason. Before my wedding I had many dreams that Disney caught on fire, wasn't fun anymore, etc. It's just too wonderful to me that I think I subconsciously think it's too good to be true. Thank goodness it isn't! :)

I guess I'm another nut, cuz I have dreams like this nearly every week. The most interesting one was when I got married at Epcot!

Quite often - but it is never like the real place. It is supposed to be WDW, but it is completely different. It just doesn't make any sense

No dreams about the park but a really disturbing dream about mice after our trip last June. All I can remember about the dream is I had found mice in our house and everyone insisted on dressing them up like Mickey and Minnie. :earseek:

Yes, I do have dreams of being in WDW. I usually am in one of the parks on rides. Sometimes I'm at a water park and sometimes I'm in the room. One time I was on a bus going to a park. It's always different and I am always happy I'm there with my family. I noticed I have these dreams more often when I am stressed from work (I'm a special education teacher). Last year was a doozie and I had them very often. I was really happy when summer came and I was able to go to the real thing! Have you noticed when you have your dreams?
Sherry :)

Oh my gosh, I just got a chill, your description made me "FEEL" Disney.

I never have had that dream -- but I know what you mean how it doesn't look like, but it does feel like Disney.

I sometimes dream of people who I don't "see" in my dream, yet I know its them. So I know that feeling well.

I would welcome a "Disney" dream. (maybe if I concentrate real hard ..:headache:.I can plant it subconciously in my brain and program myself to dream of Disney)

I just had one last week. I was there with my sisters and brother (We've never been there together in real life) and my Mom was there too (She passed away 12 years ago). We were renting water mice (which I've never done YET) and found out we could take them directly to a friends house to have lunch with him??

I do. Not as often as anyone who knows me might suspect, but probably every few months and more often just prior to the next trip.

For three nights in a row last week, I dreamt I was checking into a Disney resort. It didn't resemble any real resort though.

I also have had nightmarish ones where I'm riding this monsterous(sp?) rollercoater. Again, the dream park didn't resemble the real ones.

Hey, any therapist out there who can clue me in as to what to make of these dreams? :wave2:
:p

Yep, just last week, we checked into our room @ BCV which didn't look like BCV at all and it was filthy. Didn't matter, I found a housekeeper and told her how dirty it was (don't think I would ever really do that), was on our way to the parks and - my dd woke me up:( Not sunny Florida at all, but cold & dreary NC. Oh well, a girl can dream!! My dh told me that we're not going back for 2 years, I guess I'll have to dream.:(

Yeppers, dream here every night, after hearing Illuminations! A lucky boi, indeed! :)

I've had dreams like that, but somehow it's never like the real one. I never seem to go on any rides or see any attractions. Actually, now that I think about it, it's more like home with gift shops. lol I do dream that I seem to be able to find characters when I'm there though. Once I dremt I saw Maurice from Beauty and the Beast there who, strangely enough, does not even appear in the parks. He looked just liked Lesslie Nielson too. I also drempted I was somewhere in WDW and all the Princesses came out with their Princes (Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Belle, Pocahontas, Esmeralda, ect.) and as soon as I got in line for each one, the characters I lined up for left. :(

3 times a week.:o My last dream was a few nights ago, and I dreamed I got there, DH drove, and was UPSET on how long it took to check in, the parks was crowded so we drove back home! When I got home, I decided I wanted to go BACK, and was on the phone with the Disney Corporate Office, to see if I could get my Reservation BACK! WHAT A NIGHTMARE!:earseek:
