ok so now Im thinking out of those 14 nights 3 can be late night hrs
however our itinerary is ending up with 3 days/nights in a row at MGM! we really dont think MGM is that big
so do you ever do the same park a few days in a row before changing to another (especially on a long trip?)

We were thinking of doing the same thing with the Magic Kingdom. There isn't enough at MGM to keep me there for three days.

Actually I feel like MGM is the only park that can be done "in a row" (without repeating to much). I am not the biggest fan of MGM but when my DGF and I went in January we spent THE ENTIRE day and only got to about half the stuff we wanted to do. With conflicting show times it is hard to get all the shows in on one day. I say if you're going to MGM a few times just go slower. Try this for a Goal. See Every Show, Ride TOT and RNR a LARGE number of times, try to eat at all the popular places (even if it is just a milk shake at the bar at Prime Time) See Fantasmic twice (seeing it twice from different points will seem like a different show) and HAVE FUN!!!!

We always spend 2 days at Epcot and three days at MK. I split those parks up into "sections" and we plan to focus on those areas on a particular day. Once we finish our itinerary then we use the rest of our day to do whatever we want in that park. These 2 parks are our favorites so we spend more time in them.

We generally do three days at Epcot and only 1.5 - 2 days at MGM. I think you can enjoy three days at MGM but since mose of it is shows, I am not sure if you really want it in a row. We use it for a little rest. More sitting, less walking. Don't stress it too much and try. If it doesn't work out, don't do that again.

The only time I would say this could happen is Christmas week because of the crowds; otherwise, you will be repeating a lot of what you are doing if you go three days in a row with that park. Now, there is a special tour (Behind the Scenes) that may give some prudence to being in that park for a longer time but not for three days. Now, if you want to see the same thing over and over then it's ok. :rotfl:

If you don't want to go anywhere but Disney I would use the extra time to resort hop, do more shopping at DD, take in something special like Cirque du Soleil, a water park, etc. :wizard:

I would even consider sleeping in your mornings and only going half days for three days in a row to that park. Another alternative is to split your time between multiple parks for those three days. :moped:

When staying in the EPCOT resort area, we may go to EPCOT every day. Sometimes twice a day!

May 3 MK
May 4 MK
May 5 AK/DT Disney
May 6 AK/Board Walk
May 7 EPCOT
May 8 EPCOT
May 9 MGM
May 10 MGM

MYW Magic Plus (NO HOP)

I would never want to spend 3 days in a row at MGM. I could see doing 2 in a row at the most. On the trip we just went on in Feb. (which was 12 nights long) we did MK two days in a row, and we could have done another 1 or 2 days in a row there! We could do Epcot 2+ days in a row, and maybe even AK... But not MGM.

I don't like going to a park for the second time until I've been to all of them at least once. Call me crazy.

No, never have done that. We always do a half day in one park and the other half of the day in another. Always get hopper tickets and don't want to get park burn out. Plus if the park is crowded in the morn we don't want to experience that in the evening, but try another park. We also schedule our eating for the day where we're going to be, to eliminate alot of traveling and busting up the parks in halves, we have places to eat in each area. Final day of park playing is usually our favorite park ,the MK, last day we spend the whole day with the usual mid day break at the resort. Just our way of enjoying WDW.

I go with the flow, decide in the morning where we are going.

With all the crazy questions you're asking I hope you're keeping notes so you don;t have to ask all these wierd questions over again if you go after you go in August. :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

We like to mix up the park days to keep everything fresh, such as thurs a MK, friday at Epcot, Saturday at Universal Studios, sunday start at MGM and monday start at AK.DH and I just plan what park we start in and take it from there, letting it vary with crowd size, weather, what we feel like etc... :sunny:

Three days in a row to MGM, would be far too long for us and that park..but we each have our own touring style, so go and enjoy it... :cool1:
