Do you drink alcohol in WDW?

I was excited to see Sangria offered at most sit down meals last trip! We also enjoyed trying out different drinks in WS. We took turns picking them out and sharing.

Only at Epcot, Germany for a beer and American adventure for a Red Stag lemonade.

We don't drink too much even at home when the kids are around. At Disney, we will usually have a drink at the pool one day. We will usually have a drink with dinner too. Usually not more than that if the kids are with us. While we don't have to drive, the kids are still little. Plus who wants a Hangover at Disney.

I drank only once in my years of going, not because I don't think drinking is okay... I am totally fine with it (as long as you don't get sloppy and fall all over my family)... but because it just never really occurs to me to order one.

Plus, I think it is because I am riding rides and doing other things and booze plus whirly rides equals vomit (no matter how many I've had). :)

I do! Love all the different drinks at Epcot and nothing like a piña colada by the pool. It's my way of relaxing after a hard core day of touring. :drinking1:drinking1

No, I don't. Not because I'm against it though - it just doesn't work out well for me. :) Alcohol tends to make me sleepy, which is not helpful when trying to tour the parks and keep track of kiddos. Those drinks at Epcot sure do look tempting though!

Yes, but we go during food and wine. We have been known to go back to resort in afternoon and have a few drinks also :)

Last time we went my son wanted to do the phineas and ferb deal at epcot. So while he was locating stuff in each country i would have a beer. It was very fun by the time we were finished.

My hubby, for some unknown reason, are discussing drinking in Walt Disney World. I have been known to put back some beers, but for some reason in Disney, I barely drink. Last trip I drank a little bit more often...margaritas were too good lol....just wondering what other parents do in WDW?

Some. At Epcot and HDDR, and Jellyrolls when staying onsite.

But also I do a lot of the driving so my husband has more opportunity than I do.

We did this once....for 7 hours!!! I was having a GREAT time by the end.

Everywhere but Magic Kingdom. Last time, my husband and I got an in-room sitter for the kids on my birthday and drank around the world. I think we actually only ended up splitting drinks in 4 countries, but we tried.

Getting sloshed is probably a bad idea, but a few drinks while on vacation is hardly a big deal.

Always order one drink with sit down meals. DH's favorite Epcot activity is drinking around the world. When we are back at the Resort at night, we like to sit by the pool with a glass of wine. To make that economical on our last trip, DH and my DBIL both packed a box of wine in their checked bag.:rotfl2: We rarely drink in any of the other parks except one at a sit down meal. We're usually there in the heat and more focused on drinking water when touring.

My favorite last trip...
The Habanero Lime Martian Margarita at Sci Fi.

We have 6 adults and one child, staying on site so lots of opportunity for DH and I to partake in some bevvies!

I no longer drink alcohol but in the day I considered myself a lush and I too noticed that when at Disney, I barely drank. I concluded that it was because I was always on the go during the day having fun and too tired at night to even think about it.

Disney is the really the only place we drink alcohol...mostly in the room with a special desert wine that DH buys with our TIW card and our reward dollars. If Mom and Dad are with us then I drink a White Russian with her and a Jack and Coke with him. My MIL and I get a glass of wine with dinner. She only drinks at Disney.

I would agree that Disney offers many tasty (but pricy) drinks. We too partake at the resorts, since most times we are camping at Fort Wilderness and bring our own.

My wife really doesn't care, but I'm always tempted at the World Showcase!

Well I plan to! Last time I was pregnant lol. Recommendations for picking up wine/beer or ideally delivery? I don't feel comfortable flying with it.
