Do you do this when you're within a week or two from your trip?

We do it on both ends as well. The before part adds to the anticipation of the trip. The after part is a little sad, but usually the memories are happy.

That's one of the reasons we like to watch the DCL ships leave every Saturday and Sunday - we are either counting down to our next trip or remembering one of our past trips.

Oh yeah!!!:)
And do it after the trip too. Which usually makes me depressed!:(

Yes I do - and it backfired - on our last trip it was "today we were suppose to be doing this, tomorrow we were suppose to be doing that"
(sorry mods but this wasnt a new thread by me, Im just answering it)

Of course I do - and when we come home, I do it in reverse... "this time 3 weeks ago I was in Magic Kingdom". :(

Always and I continue with, "last week at this time we were....."

Yep - DH and I both do this - starts about one month before our trip.

Oh yeah, DH and I are guilty of this as well...
Half the fun of a trip is the anticipation, I think :D
