Just wondering....do you GO to the park that has EMH or AVOID it?
We always try to avoid it. But.......we're thinking that AK would be best at night, since it might be a little bit cooler (this will be during the summer). How bad are evening EMH's? Anyone done one at AK?

We do all the morning EMHs but we have annual passes so we can jump to another park as that one gets busy. EMH in the evening have been crowded when we have tried but they do get significantly later in the summer and I have heard the parks begin emptying out about an hour after EMH starts if it is until about 2am. I was at the evening EMH at AK on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. It was fairly crowded at the beginning but not as crowded as the parks the following days. We didn't stay very long- I just wanted to ride Everest at night. I did not feel it was as packed as Epcot seems to be during evening EMH. The one thing to note is that there is very little light and it is hard to see people. When we walked we had to hold hands so we wouldn't get lost.

thanks so much. That made my decision, since it was going to be just my dh and my dd going at night, and I don't want that extra worry of her getting lost! I'll fit in in somewhere else! Thanks for the input!

Yep we do the emh's as much as we can. On the Busy hot days we have been known to head out mid day to the water park then head back to the park when it cools down. I was suprised the last time we went the kids did great staying up late then up early the next day.

We went to WDW once and only did the EMH for MK in the morning. It was the special preschool one where only Fantasyland was open. THAT was so great. All the characters were out and about playing with the kids. No autographs, but plenty of photo interactions. We rode the carousel with Chip and Dale right next to us. We played "Peter Says" with Peter and Wendy, because Peter doesn't like the name Simon. That was the best, very best day of our trip.

We avoid the EMH parks with the exception of morning EMH at the MK. That one is fabulous! We usually get everything done before the park is open to the public.
