Do you do character meals with Tweens?

Absolutely! Disney brings out "the kid" in my kids...one of the reasons why I love it so much!

Actually this next trip they will be 12, 15, and turning 14 on the trip, and I have plenty of character meals booked. They would be very disappointed if I didn't.

Enjoy!!

We're in the same situation. We're returning to WDW for the first time in many years, and we were afraid that character meals with our 16 and 11yos would be odd. Particularly Akershus, which we wanted to try for breakfast, having never done it.

But, the kids put those fears to rest. They insisted on at least two character meals. So, decision made. ;)

My kids love them - 14, 12, & 4!

We've got the following planned for our next trip:

Chef Mickey's breakfast - 'cause it's my favorite character meal

Cinderella's Royal Table lunch - 'cause we've done it every trip so far, &, when I said something about NOT doing it this time, DD gave me a sad face & DH reminded me we have a pic w/ Cinderella from all our other trips (beginning when DD was 5 & older DS was 3) so it's nice to see them "grow up" in the pictures... ;)

Crystal Palace lunch - 'cause it's DH's favorite character meal

Garden Grill dinner - 'cause it's probably older DS's favorite character meal

And younger DS, of course, likes them all!

YES! I think my dd16 enjoys the character meals more than dd8 :rotfl: .Last trip dd16 made all of our ADR's since the trip was for her birthday, and 10/11 of the reservations were character meals :thumbsup2
