Do you "do" breakfast?????

We don't have any character or buffet breakfasts scheduled for our upcoming trip. We do prefer to eat breakfast over lunch though, so we usually try to get an early start, head to the food court and grab a quick breakfast, and then head to the parks. I also bring Nutrigrain bars, granola bars, etc. just in case we want to go that route instead, and eat an early lunch.

We're going to be fairly flexible about breakfast/lunch this trip, but dinners are all planned out!

We get up get ready and then eat granola bars, pop tarts, or fruit while waiting for the bus to pick us up and get to the parks. We also try to do one or two Character meals. We loved Chef Mickey's! We had frozen Fruitopia drinks that thawed just enough to wash down breakfast by the time we got to the parks.

We do what feels right for us that day. It usually means 1 or 2 character breakfasts and 1 or 2 regular table service or buffets. The other days someone will usually go find bagels, juice, fruit etc and bring it back to the room so we can munch and relax while getting ready for the day. Sometimes we'll order room service once on a trip, but it's sooooo expensive we try to avoid it.

We eat breakfast in the room too and usually either grab lunch in the park or eat something when we return to the villa for a break. We like to have a sit down dnner though.

Dh and I also like to be at the parks early so we usually have something in the room. This trip is kinda up in the air because of dining credits. We may grab something quick at the food court before we leave. The one exception is we love Kona. We are doing that on our last day (we aren't doing parks that day).

Were another one that eats in the room with quick bagels and cheese and cereal and then head to the parks. We have always done so far 1 character breakfast each trip. I feel why change things if they are working well. We have so far only gone in the winter season so the parks aren't open long like in the summer, so anytime wasted it bad for us.

This year we did four character breakfasts, the other times we ate at the food court. Our character breakfasts were all at the parks before opening except for Chef Mickey's on out last day.

DH doesn't eat breakfast, ever. EVER.
(Most days, he doesn't eat lunch either)

Subsequently, we're not making any breakfast ressies. Just me and my cereal in my room!

Our schedule is below. We have found that a good breakfast when we are on vacation at WDW is key to a good day. Maggie

We usually grab something quick at the parks. I love having a strawberry smoothie for breakfast from the Fountainview Cafe at Epcot.

We do have a couple nice sit down breakfasts though- I LOVE Kona Cafe and Boma for b-fast.

I am reading a lot of different ideas from everyone,so here's mine.We ALWAYS eat bfast in our room.We go to the big Wal after we check in and get settled. There,we get several things for bfast.Bagels, cream cheese, sandwich meat, cereal, milk, donuts, and snacks. We have a big cooler that has wheels on it,and each day before we leave the room,we put everything in it and get ice from the ice machine, keeps everything cool for the day.In the evening,we pour off the water and restock it again with more ice for overnight. This allows us to save A LOT of money for our bfasts and at mid-trip point,we go back to the Wal and get a few more things to finish out the trip. But we only started doing this when we began staying on the property at various resorts. When we stayed off property,we DID eat at different locations for bfast, and THAT ran into spending too much money for me.I AM A MONEY-MISER!!!!!!!!
Anyway,there ya go!

Breakfast is granola bars and pop tarts for us. I do enjoy eating at the breakfast buffets and will schedule those for the last seating - usually around 10:30. That way it's more a brunch and we skip lunch.

My family would rather do a big lunch in the park. We usually eat cinnamon rolls or honey buns in the room and then around 11 or so we eat lunch. I want to be at the park as soon as they open....LOL!!

husband loves big brkft and brfst buffets in particular so we always go to trail's end for brfst once and usually at least one othersit down ( 3 last time) we had aps last time so we went to emh or opening the first 4 days then went when and were we wanted ,including brk the last 5. trail end we went before mk opened think we got there llike 7 or right when they opened then got to mk at 8am opening( ok we are nuts), wcc we went last day at about 10 before leaving for home, boma we went in around 8 and got to 9am ak opening, kona, we went on sat or Sunday morning around 8 but had to wait for an hr just to get seated, we were going to dtd originally to disney quest which was too busy so then mk which was also to busy

those days we either eat a late large lunch and no dinner or early big dinner( we never eat more than 2 meals there)

other than that we usually get a pastry in the park for a snack after emh or coffee and something similar from the food court in the room before we leave. we took cereal but it felt like a punishment eating it (" no! you may not go out and play until you finish your brkfst"!)so won't do that again

My DH is a big breakfast person so, we have to do breakfast. We usually still get to the parks by opening time, and even do EE at AK and MK.

Depending where we stay we will either eat at the food court/quick service place most days.

Usually 1 day we will do a Character meal... usually Chef Mickeys on our MGM day. This gets us to MGM within a 1/2 hour of opening time, which I dont mind since many shows dont start right away anyway.

Sometimes we do 1 sit down meal either on our last morning, or a day when we arent rushing to get to the parks.

On EE day at MK, after we wipe out Fantasyland and the Speedway, we get a FP for Buzz, eat at the Bakery, then it's time to ride Buzz.

We do Brunch - I try to schedule the very latest breakfast seating they offer. We like breakfast but none of us wants it first thing in the am. We like to get out and do a few things first then stop and eat. Then we usually just have a Mickey Bar for lunch (am I a cool mom or what) then an early supper.

We really enjoyed one character breakfast at the Cape May Cafe... but wouldn't want to take the time or spend the $ every day!
It's a nice treat.... we went around 10am... that depends on your schedule... on that day, you might just want to plan on relaxing a little in the morning... and then just grabbing a snack for lunch (this will help you make up some time if that 's a concern).
Otherwise, we ate fruit, cereal, etc. in the room!
Enjoy! :bounce:

They'll be lucky to get breakfast in the room; I'm thinking about a granola bar or nuts on the way to the bus! ;) (just kidding, we do have a couple of character breakfasts planned but some days we will do it on the run.) :moped:

We have done the "late" breakfast for the character buffets. Getting to the park early and then having one of the later breakfast seatings, and turning it more into a "brunch".

DH RELIES on three large meals a day. Breakfast is usually in the food court with one character meal. Even with breakfast at the food court, we are at the bus stop for morning EMH. This year we are doing CP for breakfast so that we can get into MK before the 9:00 opening time. princess: pirate: :earboy2:
