i was at the mall today with my DK and as we got out of our van i noticed i parked next to another van with a gold mickey head on the antennae (you know the 50th celebration one??? well i have one too and that's how i knew it was a celebration one.

well anyways i had just made a stop at HD to get mickey heads and i saw this car and i put on a green mickey head in his windshield and i wrote on it:
do YOU DIS? www.disboards.com (WDW fans unite!!)

was this nerdy of me?? or did YOU get my message????

I was watching Regis and Kelly the other morning (I think that is where I saw them...) and I saw a group of people wearing lime green. And the first thing that popped in my head was "What DISers went to a taping?". Didn't post it though. LOL!

WOW...I think that is so awesome that you did that ...I would have been THRILLED if I had found that on my car....AND I have the Golden Mickey 50th Celebration on my antennae...I got in Feb when we were there.

I bet anything, we will hear from them if they are a DISer!!!

I think it is great!

I wish the DIS offered bumper stickers. I often wonder when I see tons of Disney stuff on someone's car or a license plate that is Disney if they are DISer's. No way to ask.

We should have bumper stickers that are lime green and put our usernames on them! I do ask people if they are DISer's if I strike up a conversation with someone about Disney and they seem to love all things Dsiney too. So far, I have not met one.

Oh yea, I think we should where our DIS lime green whenever we go to the Disney store. I know some of the people I have seen in there have to DIS. I feel to silly to randomly ask though. If someone were wearing lime green or DIS stuff I would ask.

I'm also a geocacher. (www.geocaching.com) I have a sticker on my car that only a geocacher would recognize or understand. Well, we returned to our car after a short hike on a trail ....and what do I find? A geocoin (a signature item from another geocacher) stuck to my windshield. They were parked there too, but we missed each other on the trail.

So, no, not weird at all.

At work we ask for an email address and whenever someone gives me a Disney-ish email and a Disney Visa card to pay I get so tempted to ask, but I never do.

When I first signed onto the DIS I noticed a DIS'er from my hometown with a Disney vanity plate as their avatar. I immediately recognized it as one I had seen around town. I PM'd her and asked if she drove a specific SUV as I think I had seen her, turns out she did drive that car.

Most of the moms I have met who go to Disney regularly have been on the DISBOARDS. My next door neighbor comes on here. Hi, neighbor! So, it's not weird to assume that someone with a Mickey ear antenna topper would come on here.

Nerd lady checking in I too just bought the lime green Mickey antenna topper last week for my van. I actually wrote DIS on the front and back of it with a black marker. Hoping someone notices it in a parking lot and approaches me!
