Just learned about this. Maybe I'm behind the times.
Haven't looked for any yet. Was just wondering if others here do it. I really don't want to start buying stamps & ink pads that I might only use a couple of times, so this could be an option for cards.

I've used 1 digi-stamp.

It was on post #137 on page 10.

The digistamp was the phrase. The other stamp - the black floral part was a "real" stamp.

My problem was I couldn't find a stamp with a phrase that I liked that would "fit" the opening. Trust me - I looked, looked and looked.

So - I found a digi-stamp that I thought would have an appropriate sentiment for that particular exchange.

The pros:I liked that one of the 10 colors that was on the file matched my card colors.
I liked that I could resize the phrase to the size I needed.
The digistamp was ~$2.00. (In comparison, a real stamp would have cost about $10 or more.
It is easier to store a digistamp!
In my card, I already had the green inkpad, but if I would not have had the right inkpad, a digistamp would have eliminated that expense too!

The cons:As it was my first time using digistamps, it took me a little bit longer to figure out how to use it.
While it did have color options (and again, one matched my card concept) there were only 8 or 10 colors to pick from. I would have preferred a whole palatte of colors to work with (like the 256 colors you can get when you are changing colors on a word document.)
It seems to me that the digistamps are "cutesy" types of designs. It took a long time to find a "classy" sentiment for what I needed.
The digistamp in my card was printed on text-weight paper. If I need to use a digistamp on a heavier weight paper, I will have some waste, because my printer doesn't always "suck in" cardstock straight.

I would definitely use them again, although, my preference will always be to have an actually stamp.

Hope that helps!
