Do you cry at movies, life situations, anything?

I have a friend who does not cry. She thinks I'm odd for crying at movies (I was a blubbering mess at Marley & Me). She also doesn't understand how I can cry at people's circumstances when I don't even know them.

So, I was wondering are you a crier? Do you cry at anything and everything or are you pretty tough and have trouble tearing up?

I cried at Marley & Me. I get emotional at certain things involving children, mass killings. I still get choked up about the OKC bombing. Im very emotional about WWII stories. Im tough when needed, but you have to feel.

I very rarely cry at movies. I do feel like crying when I hear or read about people in real pain even when I don't know them, but I will contain myself unless/until I'm alone. I can't stand for people to see me crying, but I do cry freely when I'm by myself

I am a the biggest blubber there is. I just finished crying thinking about some friends of my ex-mother in law that I haven't had contact with since I separated from my ex DH 7 years ago. What started me on this tonight, I have no idea!! LOL I have a good cry several times a week. Commercials, movies, you name it. There's song sung at church during baptisms that I will cry about if I just THINK about the first few notes (I've wanted to have a 2nd child for many years and have had a number of miscarriages and other nonsense). I cry when I'm happy, when I'm sad, when other people are happy, when other people are sad...you get the picture.

I cry occasionally in movies or a tv show, if the plot is really touching. Situations in real life, yes. Examples: innocent people getting murdered, police officers and police dogs getting killed in the line of duty, etc..The most recent was at Thanksgiving. I got a gut wrenching vibe about my step-brother getting seriously hurt or killed in a car wreck. I went in another room and cried. He got in a wreck three days later, but was ok. ....I was thinking about seeing Marley and Me. But I'm really emotional when it comes to animals, so I don't know. :sad2:

Oh, I'm a cryer. I used to be embarrassed, but I can't do anything about it, so I just let it go.

OMG me too!!!!!!!! One lady who left the theater after it was over was just sobbing!! Of course so was I. I cry ALOT. I'm serious. The least little thing sets me off.:sad1:

I'm a cryer too...but in 28 years of marriage I can honestly say I have never seen my dh cry, I've seen him upset before but never to the point of full tears. :confused3

DH and I have been married 7 years this July. I've seen him cry once. That was a couple years ago when his military buddy was killed in Afghanistan.

I never NEVER cried until I had my DD. I think pregnancy broke something in me??:confused3 Now it's waterworks over pretty much anything. It's really annoying to be honest:sad2: . First trip to WDW with DD and my DH finally said "Are you going to cry when you takes her first WDW pee?":lmao: He's such a B*****D- I LOVE it!!!;) I know I should have been P.O.ed but that is funny.

I am a crier. I cry at everything, even stupid stuff. I'm not okay with it at all actually! I still get quite embarrassed.

I cry easily.. I cry when hurt mostly. This I wish I could stop, but it is stronger than I am.

I also cried at Marley and Me, and I don't often cry at movies. It was so sad.

Not often and almost never when I don't know the people involved.

I cry at movies all the time...my brother's girlfriend and I went to see Marley and me the other day and both were crying like crazy!

Oh lord I cry at the drop of a hat.. Today I looked at Anthony who has grown so much in 3 months I started crying.. Dh is a semi crier. Seen him cry mostly when my family has died.. we were terrible when we found out about my grandmother.. she was like another mom to our kids.. it was a very very bad time here. Then again when my dad died.. he was such a wonderful grandfather to our kids.. And of course I'm crying now for thinking about those things.. yes we are a crying family

I know the feeling. Everytime we watch a Disney movie and the castle is on the screen and get all giddy. DH says "are ya gonna pee or cry?" I say "maybe both it DIsney!"

I'm a cryer. I cry at sad movies. I was weepy when we saw Marley and Me. Even DH teared up and that's unusual for him. I don't cry so much when bad things happen to me but I do when it's strangers on television or in a movie. :confused3

i'm not a crier. it has to be bad for me to cry. and usually i'll cry for a few minutes, alone, then be better.

If a movie involves something bad happening to a child or a dog, I'll cry like a baby, no question. But that being said, I HATE to cry and I will go to almost any length to avoid it! I don't read sad stories and I will not go see any movie with a dog as the main character because, face it, we all know what's going to happen...:sad2:

Love stories or other adult drama has no effect on me though, even the ones that everyone seems to cry over. Nah... nothing :confused3

 Luckily I having started peeing too. Man I quit if that happens:sad2: -lol.
