Do you constantly mistype the same words every time.

I get so frustrated with my typing. My brain goes faster than my fingers, so I leave out words or drop syllables. There are times when I think my fellow DISers must think I am a raving idiot from the typing errors in my posts. Even worse, I don't see the errors when proof reading because my mind sees what I wanted to type, not what I actually typed. Its so frustrating to try to compose a well thought out post only to have typing errors leave me looking stupid and ignorant.

But what really bothers me is that I constantly type the incorrent spelling for words that I darn well know how to spell. For example, I tell my hands to type the word "because", but they almost always type "becuase" instead (I actually had to go back and edit the paragraph above because I made this error). I also consistantly type "beleive" when I mean to type "believe".

Does anybody else have this problem?

All the time.........I also grew up in Canada, so I also try to correct my neighbo(u)r's and colo(u)r's!

The word that I always end up misspelling when I type - is my name!!!! And I get tricked up with "because" and "with" and sometimes "the".

At times I seem to type faster with one hand than I do the other. It use to always be the left hand that was faster, but now it seems to be the right, if it is a more common word that I don't have to think about. the usually comes out hte, because comes out becuase etc.

Also for some reason I always leave out a m in remember. It always comes out remeber

ugh. yes, i do. I took JAVA my freshman year and there is a command called 'button'. For some reason, everytime i tried to type it, i'd type 'bottom'. I didn't do any programming after that and ever since that class i find myself typing 'button' instead of 'bottom'.

It is very annoying.

I usually make really embarrassing misspellings, you know, leaving a very important letter OUT of a word.

I often misspell PUBLIC.

My worst ones are "thier" for "their" and "soem" for "some". The second one comes from trying to type too fast.
