I've made all the adr's I think we will make and have all the confirmation numbers stored until our october trip. question...do any of you confirm your adr's prior to leaving on your trip, or do you just show up with your confirmation numbers in tow? I'd hate for anything to fall thru the cracks since we have our kids with us this trip, but since I have the confirmation numbers, that should be enough, right?

I think confirming your ADRs a few days before your trip is a great idea. On one occasion that made me realize that the CM had made my ADR for 7:30 AM, rather than 7:30 PM (or maybe it was the other way around, but it was for the wrong meal in any case). When we've done split stays, sometimes some ADRs have been attached to one resort and some to another, so they've also been able to make sure they've been consolidated under one reservation.

I just did last week, because I had a dream that all my ADR's were gone :rotfl: I'm glad I did because when I called, she only had half of them. Before I started to panic she asked me my cell phone #. I do not know how it happened, but half my ADR's were under my home # and half were under my cell. I didnt book them under my cell #. Anyway, I got that settled before I left. I honestly do not know if I would have had a problem once I got there, but I'm glad I did confirm.

I normally dont but alot of ppl do. I just received another print out of all of my ADRs for the week so I know mine are alright. I got the print out because we are part of a Magical Gathering (party of 8 or more)

On threads with this question in the past, a lot of people have reported either some or all missing ADRs. A lot of times it is because of the wrong phone number or a glitch somewhere in the info taken by the CM...once or twice people have not been so lucky!

We always confirm about a week out from our trip and it is just another excuse to call Disney and good for piece of mind!

I do. I started making mine in May for our trip next week and have been double checking all alonge (as well as altering them). I found that a few were missing and were somehow attached to our cell phone. Others were attached to an incorrectly spelt last name, and others just seemed to vanish until I produced the dining reservation #. Not knowing where they were really scared us as they had been made a while ago. Besides, double chekcing helps to ease my mind.

I asked a CM on the phone after making reservations whether I need to call to confirm before we arrive, and she said there's no need.

If you want to, go ahead! I'm sure they won't bite. ;)

We don't. Not sure if having ADRs under two different phone numbers would matter in the end... we walked up to podiums and told them our Last Name, number in party, and ADR time... like Carter, party of 2 for 2 pm. YMMV.

I did and I'm glad they had half of our ADR under my name and half under my husband's name. He never called in, but the reservations at the resort were under his name so for a while we only had dinner reservations for 3 days out of 7. Check your reservations to be safe!

I always do. A few weeks ago I called to change one and the CM asked me if I wanted to make anymore since I only had the one and we were going to be there during free dining. WHAT!!! We do alot of TS so had about sixteen. After I gave her the confirmation numbers she found they were listed under my cell phone (always give them my home number) and the first CM had butchered both my first and last name. She had used only the first three letters of my first name (thereby changing it to a man's name) and used Johnson, instead of Jackson. Thee is no way I would have recognized that name as mine. The second CM was able to fix them, but I was in a panic for a few moments. I never give them my cell phone number, but that is the phone I always use to call them, so that number appeared on the CM's screen when I called in the first time.

I called about a week later to change another one and due to my paranoia asked the CM to recheck them. Lo and behold that second CM had put us in the first HDDR show, instead of the second one.

We leave in a few weeks and I called to confirm all our ADR's and was glad I did! Our late dinner at 'Ohana had somehow gotten CANCELLED! We were able to re-book it for about 10 minutes later than the original ressie, but who knows if we could have gotten in once we were actually there?!?! I ALWAYS confirm!!!

I confirmed and I am glad I did. They had us double booked, because we changed the times, and they were both ones that you are charged for if you don't show up.
It's not a bad idea to confirm. It only took about 5 minutes, but I am glad I did.

I confirm obsessively. I read the numbers back and at the end of the call I read the whole list. Check again a day or two later. Call a few days before I leave, re-confirm. Get a print-out when I check in.

Never had a problem, don't want to have one. :)

I saw a family get turned away at Cape May for breakfast. They swore they had an ADR (PS then), but they didn't get to sit down.
