And if you do , how far ahead? I read some mix ups and ppl started confirming so I wondered if you do.

I voted yes because I was calling every few days before our trip trying to get a Donald's Safari Breakfast ADR. So I just decided to go ahead and confirm while I was calling about the ADR. I gave me peace of mind.

I DO NOW!!!!
Long story short-I had a ressie for HDDR and when we showed up I was told it was not a real confirmation # and they could not seat us. Last night there so we missed out. Came home and called the ressie line and spoke with a supervisor who looked it up and told me that according to his records we did eat there the night before. This was before cell phones and let me tell you-if that happened today I would be on the phone so fast the line would be smokin' hot. So now I confirm!!!

We go for a few weeks at a time, and its ineveitable that no matter how many times I confirm all of them, I show up and one is not there. Last year it was towards the end of our trip. They had no record of us having an ADR at Cape May. You can bet I didn't walk away - they got us in.

In over 50 visits (and probably more than 200 actual ADR's) since the current ADR system started, we've never had a problem with ours so we don't bother.

not really. I had to call and get all my conformation number again b/c of a computer issue, but if it hadn't been for that I would not have. I don't want to give them anymore reason to mess around with my reservations, thus giving them more chances to mess something up!

I VOTED YES!

I like the peace of mind! I made our ADR's at the 180 day mark. I think I checked out our ressies a few times before we actually went!

I don't. I have read horror stories of them being missing or made for wrong dates or whatever, but I've also read horror stories of ADRs being accidentally cancelled when calling to confirm or make changes.

I said "other" because I confirm only when I have a change. I make the change and have them confirm the others just to be sure. So, I do confirm but I don't make a special call just to confirm. Hope that makes sense. :)

I voted "other" because sometimes I do call to confirm ADRs when I remember or get a chance to....because I have shown up in the past (only a couple of times) and they did not have our ADR in the computer!!:scared1: But, they were able to accommodate us!

I voted yes Last year while confirming my adr's the CM couldn't find my CG adr Once I gave my conf # she was able to locate it Apparently my name was misspelled and the CM was able to correct it Upon checkin at the CR I asked for a print out just to make sure that everything was in order To be safe, I carried the list with me for the week but we didn't encounter any problems

no, I don't call and confirm but i do write down my confirmation #'s and bring it with me.

No. I thought about it after reading the recommendation to confirm on the boards. But in the end I was lazy and it didn't matter because we didn't have any problems with our ADRs.

So far, I haven't confirmed any ADRs and I haven't had a problem with any, either. I do make notes in my phone with the confirmation # and the date that I made the ressie, just in case.
