I collect Disney License Plates (not just WDW, but all Disney ones). I also love giraffes, and while I didn't intend to start collecting them....I have grown quite the collection anyways!!
I collect Disney snowglobes, Disney pins (although I'm slowing down), shot glasses, antenna toppers, anything with Tigger, and I collect (but haven't bought any in a long time) Precious Moments and Boyd's Bears.
I have a small collection of boy Precious Moments, a HUGE collection of Christmas ornaments, a collection of Swarovski crystal figures and a little bit of this and that.
I try to avoid collecting things because they usually take up too much room.
When I lived in Italy I started collecting the Carnivale masks but since I have not been there in quite a while I have not added anything to my collection.
I guess I have a collection of Disney Hallmark Christmas ornaments. I had a good number but nothing you could call a collection and then my parents went and bought me two older Disney Hallmark sets for Christmas! I now feel the need to keep buying them!
DH collects things with Timothy Mouse (from Dumbo). Stuffed beanies, McDonalds toys, pins, collectible figurines, etc.
A few years back, i started collecting Disney Snow Globes. I've basically stopped because i have so many now that there is no place for them. If i saw one i fell in love with, i would be sure to buy it although they do seem to be more expensive now.
I also collect books...I love books and have my own mini collection that will hopefully be a mini library one day.
I collect Snow Village, but only display it during Christmas.
I also have a collection of Lladro which I display all year round. I stopped collecting it a couple of years ago because I was running out of places to put it. I didn't want the house to look like a store!
I do have quite a few Precious Moments, some of which are probably valuable. They have not been out of their boxes in the basement in about 12 years, so I think I'm going to just get rid of them.
Disney, of course. I started off collecting small Mickey Mouse items and that blossomed into Disney decorative plates in the 70s. Have 3 rooms bordered by these plates. Then in the 90s I started collecting the Walt Disney Classics Collection - 3 curios of these and then just recently I saw some Lenox pieces that were added to my collection. There is a Disney room in our home with lots of different Disney pieces and then we also have a Disney bedroom with the whole bedroom ensemble. Almost forgot - there's also Disney dinnerware, silverware and lots of drinking glasses. (A bit overwhelming even for us.) And at Christmas time we have a very Disney Tree with all of the ornaments and monorail and hotels.
