Sherry! How big is your Boyds collection? I recently did an inventory on mine and have 75 bears, etc! :teeth:

Two words ... CLEAN SWEEP (on TLC). ;)

I mentioned that only because after watching that show with me for quite some time, my DW finally started on some "clean sweep" work in our house. While I pity our poor sanitation engineers, I am thrilled that some of the clutter is finally moving out! :cool1:

Dust, dust, and more dust. I hate dusting, therefore I collect it!!

Shoes. :)

Also, sun catchers and wind chimes.

Okay here goes.....
cameos
dirt ( Hawiian black sand) (volcanic obsidian from Phillippines)
sea shells
beach glass
depression glass
anything Victorian (tea cups, lamps...)
books
coins
art
hand blown glass (colonial)

I collect books. DH thinks this doesn't count as a collection, but there is no way I would ever even think of trading or selling any. Some are worth BIG bucks too. ;)

Hippos! I love, love, love hippos! I have hundreds in my house! I'm always looking for cute hippos!

I also collect pins when I travel and have since I was a little kid. I was so excited when the pin collecting/trading caught on at Disney! Of course, there is no way I'll trade the ones I got as a kid!

Tinker bell, other Disney stuff no particular theme, Cobalt and Ruby glass

Stitch! I don't collect any of the toys from Lilo and Stitch, mostly plush, pins, and collectible items.

Dolphins! Love dolphins. My favorite piece is a photo of about 6 dolphins in the crest of a wave. Beautiful!

Mickey Mouse stuff, with a small sub-collection of runawaybrain stuff..

Disney. Anything Disney.

I have a collection of Disney watches, and I used to pick up the Disney beanies on a fairly regular basis (when they were still cute!), so I guess that's a collection.

I also collect DVDs (much to DH's chagrin ;) )... CDs & LPs... hardcover books (esp. Dean Koontz, Stephen King, V.C. Andrews, Ann Rice)... cookbooks - definitely collect cookbooks... and Monopoly games. I think most people would consider my earrings to be a collection, as well. I used to collect postcards - not so much anymore, but I have a large collection - somewhere - from when I was younger.

I also seem to collect TONS of art supplies, but never seem to use them. :D

Department 56 Snow Village (only christmas themed). The kids started to collect Department 56 North Pole Series. My husband laughs at me because I am constantly liberating myself my throwing things out (I hate clutter) but I cannot part with the Department 56 stuff.

My mom grew up very poor during the Depression, and had no toys to speak of, so later on she started to collect Madame Alexander dolls. Of course, after a while she tired of storing and displaying them, so now I have a collection of MA dolls. Same with her Dept. 56 Dickens' village.

I have some sports memorabilia that I have collected over the years, nothing too old or "exotic", a few autographed hockey sweaters (Messier, Leetch, Trottier, Lindros), some sticks and pucks, autographed Derek Jeter subway series baseball. My DS doesn't really understand it yet, he really has no clue/understanding of what any of it means, he just knows he's not allowed to play with those "pieces" outside.
