Do you cheer and get into the shows at WDW?

I am sitting here listening to Park Hopper Radio and Fantasmic! is playing and I have tears rolling down my face as the finale is playing. I am just thinking about when its all dark at the end and that steamboat appears and lights up and no matter how many times we see it, my DH, DS and I are up screaming and cheering and waving (and I'm crying) to all of our friends and I am just so happy. We are also the ones that cheer during the movie clips on the water screen when our favorites (Mulan, Hercules and Cinderella) appear.

Just wondering if anyone else does this, and also make a public apology for annoying anyone around us . We just can't help it....Fantasmic is our FAVORITE show at WDW and we love to cheer for all of our performer friends.

Unfortunately we Brits are known for our stiff upper lip! But ,yes,I get all choked up at Fantasmic and when Mickey says "Some imagination huh?" I always get struck by a mysterious something in my eye! There must be something in the air cos the same thing happens at Wishes-perhaps I'm allergic to fireworks

I love Fantasmic and never get over the oohs and aahs and yeahs when Mickey appears at the top for the mountain---every time!!!

I cry and get emotional at pretty much all the evening shows- Wishes, Fantasmic, Illuminations, you name it. Heck even today, listening to my cd with Soarin' on it I got teary!

What can I say, I love it and the feeling I get taking my kids there and seeing them enjoy it and feel it too.

I'm crying just thinking about it!!! I have the theme from Fantasmic set as my phone alarm, so it wakes me up every morning. I cheer for everything. I sing on IASW, I cry at Spectro, I dance with Mickey in Fantasmic.... no one on this board will think that behavior is strange!!

Are you kidding? Have you not BEEN to the other things at WDW? J.k. Walking in and seeing the castle the first time on that trip, Wishes, Illuminations, FotLK, SADCT parade.... Seriously, I love so many things at WDW and, try as I might to hide it from others, I get choked up and celebrate at the end of a great show.

Ok, well now i know i'm not the only one! I'm sitting here in the library on a public computer with 10 other users around me and i am tearing up.
Man do i love that stuff. DM and DSis were laughing at me during Wishes. I was just so happy to be there, and fireworks with disney music? forget it. I'm done for!

No one on this site will think that is crazy. I am the one swinging my head around singing and screaming at fotlk and fantasmic. I get teared up at the fireworks and parades too

I'm with phisigprincess. I am getting all teary just hearing you talk about it! I personally bounce through all of Fantasmic I get so excited. Then, when the music changes as the boat turns the corner I get all teary and start cheering! Same thing for FotLK, Spectro, Wishes, Illuminations...and the list goes on. You are not alone (though I always feel like it at the moment - why can't I be surrounded by DISers during the shows!).

Yup, I'm there crying and cheering, no apologies! I watch Fantasmic and Spectro often, and choke up everytime. I do try to hold it back at the parks when the "little things" get me going, just so the kids don't think that I am sad But I think DH knows

ABSOLUTELY!!!! I cry, sing, dance, clap, cheer, WHATEVER strikes me at the moment (within reason and LEGAL, of course--no streaking or anything! ) Its all part of the magic for us to totally immerse ourselves in the experience. You may look at me and think "gee, what is that 37 year old woman DOING??" The answer is: having a heck of a lot of fun and giving DS ammunition for future nursing home admits!!!

I went bonkers when I saw DL's Remember, Dreams Come True fireworks show and they played the Star Wars them synced with fireworks and lasers on Sleeping Beauty Castle. Disney has ways to bringing out our emotions even when we try to hide them.
