Or lollypops?

I've always called them suckers. :confused3

I use both terms. I think I tend to say lollipop more often though.

So, do you call a Hershey's a Hershey's bar, a candy bar, or a chocolate bar?

Do you call other candies, candy or sweets?

Depends on my mood, Lara, what I call them. DS2 calls them Be-bops. Don't know why.

As for Hershey's, in high school, I called that breakfast. LOL

Hmmm...Hershey is always a Hershey Bar...It's candy, not sweets...but a soda is always a coke in my world.

I was ordering drinks tonight, I knew full well they served Pepsi products, ordered DH a coke, me a sprite and then (after being asked if Pepsi and Sierra Mist were ok) ordered another sprite for DD.

Here in south Jersey, they are called taffy, which took me a long time to get used to when I moved here. I've lived in several other parts of New Jersey and have always called them lollipops.

I suck on my lollipops.

Candy is dandy, but...oops, nevermind. ;) Sweets are baked goods, but I usually just call it what it is...cookies, cake, etc.

Soda is soda even though I grew up with parents who called it pop or soda pop. Coke is the brand, cola the generic, but that might be because I don't like it.

I call them suckers. Is that more of a Southern thing?

I thought you were talking about ex husbands when I saw the title of this thread.

I call sweets on a stick suckers

Coke = Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, ect

I say suckers- Lollipops just sounds too candy landish!

What about sofa or couch?

I call them lollipops. It's such a happy word.:teeth:

suckers ( I think it is more of a southern thing!)

candy bars

Coke = all carbonated beverages

Couch

Well, I think of lollipops as the round, flat ones. And the spherical ones as suckers. So mostly I say suckers, as I don't usually have lollipops except at WDW.

Suckers.
Hershey bars.
All cola flavored beverages are "Cokes"
Never used the word couch, it's always sofa.

They're lollipops. I don't know anyone who calls them suckers. Oh, and I also say tonic. I don't say soda or pop and I don't call all carbonated drinks coke. I'll never understand why some people say coke when referring to different types or carbonated drinks or tonic. ;) I wear sneakers, not tennis shoes. And one more thing. The little chocolate or colored things we put on ice cream are called jimmies. :teeth:
