...at Christmas? :goodvibes

DH and I always exchange a :lovestruc husband/wife card every year.

I also get a special one for my Mum.

Everyone else just gets the type out of a :cutie: packet/box, which are very nice of course but just don't have that extra special sentiment!

So how about you?

We always usually exchange the "special" cards...last christmas was our first one married, so that was extra special!

I send my boyfriend one in the mail, then he gets one with his present.

I love cards, I send little ones year round to friends and family when I'm at college. Papyrus is my favorite store, I can't get enough stationary!

The thought never even occurred to me. We don't even do birthday/anniversary cards. We do special things for special occasions, but not greeting cards.

DH and I have always exchanged cards sometimes just for no reason at all. That started back in 1973 when we were married and he was in the Navy and would be gone forever and he leave stamped cards with someone to mail and I'd pack a patrol package with cards and little gifts for him to open at various times during his patrol. Old habits are hard to break. :D

We also get special cards for DDs. My parents are deceased and everyone else gets cards from the box.

Nope....neither of us likes sentimental cards.
We do funny cards at birthday, etc.

Ours are not those extra sloppy ones with mushy verses - can't stand those! :p

Ugh me neather. A couple of lines of "I love you" is fine. The pages and pages of romantic poetry....yuck.

We usually buy cards that have something on the front that reminds us of one another, usually as part of an inside joke. I have so much fun card shopping, I browse forever trying to find the perfect one.

We buy cards for each other and put them in the Christmas Tree. Then we open them on Christmas morning with the rest of our gifts. He usually gets me a mushy one because that's what I like and I get him a funny one because that's what he likes. :D

Yes, we always give each other special Christmas cards, as well as special ones for our DD and our parents. All others get the boxed ones, with special notes written in certain ones for people who we don't keep in regular touch with, so we can catch them up on our lives.

Never. We often forget them on B'days and Anniversaries as well. And I stink at Thank you notes.

Yep - we do.

We usually put them in eachothers stockings.

DH never gets a card. I buy most all the cards and I give him one without signing it so I can use it for someone else. He does the same thing for me. Or if we happen to be together, I pick a card out for him in the store and say.....If I were to buy you a card, this is the one.....Happy Birthday/Anniversary/Valentines Day or whatever. We do buy them for other family members though.

Same here TerryP, I thought we were the only ones that put them on the tree. DH usually gets me a mushy one "unless he waits to long to get to the store" then it's whatever was left! :teeth:

HA! Lewski - DH & I did that on our last Anniversary - we were in Target on that day. Since we each admitted that we hadn't yet bought a card for each other, we picked one out for each other and read them in the store! Ordinarily he's real bad at buying me cards - it's something I put up with after 28 years!
