Do you bring a water bottle to the parks?

We use a cooler back pack that fits 8 16oz bottles, freeze two of them and put the other 6 in cold. Usually lasts us all day in August heat. We're pushing a strolled so we store it underneath so no one has to lug it around.
I guess that is when a stroller comes in handy!

We bought a small water bottle holder that looks almost like a carabiner in POP gift shop and use that to hold water bottles attached to a purse or bag.

We bring one of those Brita bottles. It takes the funky taste out of the water from the fountains. Most people say they can't taste it, but I also think there's a less funky taste to the free CS ice water.

We bring the disposables .... My family (myself included) have lost one too many nice water bottles all over the country! Lol we freeze them the night before & everyone carries 2 - we probably refill the 2nd one with ice water from the parks at least 4-5 times

Does anyone know how much a bottle of water cost at the resort food courts?

We like the Brita water filter bottles - seem to make the water taste a bit better, and they are refillable!

Last trip we took in Camelbak bottles (except to Animal Kingdom where we took Tervis). Took Take n Toss for the kids. I was thinking about doing disposable water bottles this time, but we liked pouring he leftover ice water from park cups into the wide mouthed bottles.

Eta: we recently bought new tops for our came ask and they no longer have a straw, which would be nice even for AK.

I bring in multiple Kleen Kanteens (27oz). I drink 100oz a day at home and there is no way I could buy enough or get enough little cups from CS to keep me hydrated in the heat at Disney. That is just for me. We will also have all of our refillable mugs with ice/water and maybe a few smaller kleen kanteens in the stroller.

NOPE....Im spending over $6000 on this vacation so Im sure as heck going to buy a bottle of water if I need it..lol

Yes, we always bring disposable water bottles with us to the parks. I just can't get over spending $3 for one bottle in the parks when I can buy a whole pack of water bottles at Target right outside the parks for the same price!

We are callback carriers. Well the Outdoor version. We have one that is just a pack with the bladder that our youngest 10 carries. Then the 2 young teens carry ones with small backpack areas and DH carries a bigger backpack one. He get to carry more sun screen 1st aide moms shopping. Lol. They all come in so handy and everyone is happy. We travel in June so we know it's gonna be hot.

Any problems with security about bringing in bottled water or water you froze?

We bring bottles that look similar to the camel ones, but they also have a mister button on them to spritz ourselves with water. We got them at Walmart in the camping section.

We always buy a whole pack of bottled water before we check in and carry 2 bottles each per day. And yes, we recycle the empties.

We each bring a full bottle from the hotel each time we leave. We fill them up at the hotel CS or from water we purchased to keep in the room. We have used the park water fountains before to refill them. At first, the fountain water is fine, but as it warms, it starts to taste like unfiltered tap water:( Sometimes we refill the reusable bottles from bottled water purchased at a cart or at a CS. I just can't drink the fountain water all day. I know that you can get cups of water from the CS, and we might try that next time. However, it's really only easy to do when buying a meal or snack and doesn't save the garbage. It does save some money though. I wish Disney would install refrigerated, filtered water bottle filling stations, like at our airport, or Coke Freestyle machines like Universal.

We usually use stainless steel bottles. I don't like to use reusable plastic bottles, since I can't be sure that the plastic has not degraded and leached something into the water. Aluminum bottles tend to be lined with a plastic-like substance that could also leach. The particular style or brand of bottle changes; it's whatever we are currently using at home for running errands, school, and the gym. We also each have a water bottle holder that can go on our shoulder or cross-body.

Anyone have pictures and/or links to these collapsible water bottles?

Just getting these now. We travel light and used to bring in 2 bottles and share, refilling and using the flavor squirts when needed, then toos the bottle when sick of carrying it.:scared:

This trip I thought we would be more echo friendly. Because these collapse and clip easy to attach to anything. Everybody is responsible for their own so we shall see how this trip works with them.

I like that you can freeze them too:sunny:

When I went in May and it was 95 degrees, I did. For our spring (First week of April) and fall (October 21st-ish) I didn't because we weren't sweating enough to need water with us at all times. Getting a cup from CS and drinking water with our lunch and dinner kept us plenty hydrated.
