We are going to Hollywood Studios on a Tuesday in September. My girls are ages 8 & 4, and they do not nap. However, we plan to take daily "breaks" from the parks each day.

But since most of the activities at Hollywood Studios are just watching shows, especially for the kids, should I still factor in a break? Just not sure how to plan that day :confused3.

If they become used to taking afternoon breaks on your trip I wouldn't disrupt the flow. With all of the shows at DHS it's easy to sneak in some downtime, but the heat and humidity can throw anyone for a loop. DD hasn't napped at home since she was 2 but promptly falls asleep in her stroller for 2 hours every afternoon in Disney. Your girls might appreciate the offer of a nap, an air conditioned room, or swimming in the pool.

I'd do a FP for an indoor show around the time you take your breaks each day. Little Mermaid or something :) I wouldn't take a break on our HS day personally

What we liked to do when we had a preschooler was hit the park at rope drop and then make an ADR for fantasmic lunch around mid afternoon. Enjoy lunch and then head back to the room and return just in time for Fantasmic. After a nice break, we would even stay after fantasmic if the park was still open. Tons of people leave and lines go way down.
