Do you book Concierge before you go?

I have rung WDTC twice this week to add concierge level to our booking and have been told that we do this at checkin. I thought it was something you add to a booking before you leave.

Is this right or do you contact Vacation Planning directly?

Thanks for your advice.

We are staying at the GC in a couple of weeks, and tried to book the concierge level, but they said that it was all full. :( She did mention to ask when we checked in if there was any availability. Did they mention that they were fully booked?

In my experience Concierge is a totally different category that you book on its own.

At checkin it's *possible* to add it, IF they have any availability, but it's not guaranteed at all.

We always reserve it ahead of time, but you pay for it when you get there (unless you book through Disney Travel Company or one of the other on-line companies that book for Disney) when you book through the hotel directly (we get a much better deal this way using the senior rate when we travel with my parents!)

WDTC have just said you book it at check in.

I might contact vacation planning. I could understand if no availability but to me that means that you can book beforehand. Thank you all for your experiences. I appreciate it
