Just curious if you blog? If you do, for whom do you do it? Is it a personal blog, professional blog etc?

I have a personal blog. If I don't post to it at least once a week, everyone I know comes out of the woodwork to complain about the fact that I haven't blogged!

IRL, I am a complete and total yakker (like you can't tell on the DIS ;) ), so it was a good outlet for me. Especially, since I don't get to talk to friends out of state as often as I'd like. Now everyone knows what's going on.

I blogged Monday night about getting a new job and hating to leave the old one-the phone calls and emails started immediately, lol.

While I have a myspace account, I don't blog there. I use blogger, but have been having technical issues. I'll probably be porting it over to Typepad or another site soon.

I´ve been using blogger as well, but don´t really like it. Have been having issues as well. Will probably switch over to blog.is, an Icelandic account.

I blog on Myspace, mostly professional, I put up little snippets of concert reviews and photo's I've taken at shows, funny stories, kudo's to bands for achieving various milestones, just odds and ends.

I'm actually going to create a seperate myspace account that is personal only and set it to private and only invite people who are truly my friends to see it, then keep my other one strictly professional.

I have a knitting blog but I don't really blog about my life just the various projects I finish and yarn purchases of course!

No. My life is not that interesting to me, let alone others.

Please, I don't mean this to be offensive to those of you that blog, I really feel blogging has gotten to a ridiculous point (Not that those who blog are ridiculous ;) ).

mrsltg, I get where you're coming from.

I've always been a writer. Essays spring forth without too much work, so it is a natural progression for me. I started the blog when my mom was diagnosed terminal last year as a way to keep people in the know. I'm glad I did, it saved me from a thousand dollar cell phone bill, rather than the 500 it was.

My family is in NY, most of my friends are left behind in MD/NoVa/PA, and it's hard remembering who knows what. This way, they get all the news (and I have no need to send a Christmas newsletter).

The only thing right now is that a relative is really irritating me and I want to blog about it, but can't. She reads it-and I'm pretty sure she lurks here.

I've kept personal blogs for years. I occaisionally toy w/the concept of starting a job hunt/professional blog.

An occasional humor blog, just stuff I find funny in the news

I did last year right before and after major surgery. Not since then because my life isn't very interesting. :)
