Does anyone believe that the dead can communicate with us in our dreams?

You know? Honestly, I do.


This may sound so totally weird, but like two days after one of my dogs died like, a while back (her name was Lacy-died of cancer. ), I was REALLY upset about it. Went to bed that night in tears and had a dream that was like, so realistic it was just freaky. It was like...I woke up (in my dream), was still in my room, and there Lacy was, lying on the floor next to my bed. She just looked up at me then and it was like she was trying to tell me that everything was ok...that she was happy.

Ugggh, now ya'll got me crying! ;>__<

Yeah, but seriously. It was SO weird.

Tuesday the 14th one of my dear friends passed away from cancer at 16. I've known her since we were 12 and we were getting close being that we both had cancer.
Yesterday her mom got a call from a man she didn't know claiming that he had a 6th sense, and that sometimes those who've passed talk to him and ask him to comfort their loved ones. He told her mom things about her no one knew. He told her all these things that J (my friend) told him to say, and everything sounded exactly like something J would say.
It was beyond freaky. I was totally speechless.

My Dad died four years ago and a little while ago I had been misssing him a lot. One night I really wanted to talk with my dad and hoped I could talk with him in my dreams. Well sure enough, that night my dad was in my dream and I got to talk with him I can't remember what we talked about but it felt so good to be around him again.

Oh, that was freaky. I went over to visit J (well, techincally her ashes but I know she was there spiritually) and her mom today. I asker her mom about what went down, and she told me everything I already said, except for one thing.
There was one part of the conversation she had with the man - the man said J told him to tell her mom that "You were right" in reference to an intimate conversation they had.
The only intimate conversation her and J had consisted of her telling J that it was okay to pass, she will be safe, and that Heaven will be better for her. J had told her mom that she (her mom) was right, that she (J) was safe and happy in Heaven, through this man.


I don't mean to bring religion into this, but .

Kind of.

My nanny was really sick a few years ago. One night, I had a dream and it was my grampa (never met him, he died before I was born), and my nanny waving to me, but they were in just a white, fluffy , cloudy background type thing. Then they smiled and vanished.

When I came downstairs the next morning, my parents were crying and sitting in the living room. I started crying not only because my nanny was gone, but because I knew she had said goodbye to me in her last moments.

( I was the only one not allowed to see her on her death bed, my mom wanted me to remember her the way she was)

I have one about my grandma and her husband, who died when my mom was one year old. My grandma has it all written out, and she can explain it better, so I'll email her to get the story. But it's incredible to me.
And Sonya, that story about J is incredible. Shivers!

These stories are all so fascinating.

I asked about the dreams because a little while after my grandma died, maybe a couple months, I had a dream I was at the zoo (weird location I know). There is a big hill at the zoo next to the polar bear exhibit and all of the sudden my grandma was walking up that hill, I could clearly see her and I remember talking to her but I don't know what about. It was so weird...I knew it was a dream but it just seemed real to me at the same time.

I also think that there are other ways the dead communicate with us. Before my grandma died she wrote me a letter saying "if you see a little bird outside your window, it might be your grandma's spirit checking on you." Well, a red bird has come around our house (not so much recently) and constantly tapped on the windows, trying to get our attention.

I like those shows where they communicate with the dead. I don't know...I think spirits definitely live on in one way or another and can communicate back to us.
