Do you believe in angels?

Yes, I do believe in angels. I believe my mom and grandmother, ( called her granny) watch out for me and my DDs daily.

::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: I definately believe in angels. They are described in the Bible. When my oldest was 14 she had knee surgery and stopped breathing. She told me that an angel sent her back.
I also believe in spirits of people that become our guardians. I'm sure both of my daughters and my husband and I have them. So many things have happened in my life that confirm their existance. Mine I belive is my father and I can frequently smell his pipe tobacco in my home. He's been gone about 10 years and no one in my home smokes so I know it is him.

DH and I firmly believe that his mom is "friends" with our DD. WHen she was a tiny baby, she was napping in the middle of our bad. DH came home from work and we went to look at her. She was awake, looking very intently at something on the ceiling or above her anyway, and "talking." We both immediately said, she is talking to your mom! Nothing prior to that made us think if DH's mom, it just came to us.

Now DD has an invisible friend, her name is "Lora" you guessed it, DH's mom's name. THe funny thing is, she went by her middle name, Gail and we have never refered to her as Lora. Also, Lora has a friend named Ellen. DH's mom had a friend who died young, and her name was...........Ellen.

I work in a hospital and we were caring for a young woman who was dying of cancer. The last few days of her life, she was in and out of consciousness. From time to time she would point to different places in the room and tell us that she could see the angels, and that they were beautiful, and would even become frustrated when someone would tell her they could not see them. She died within days of the appearance of the angels. Could have been hallucinations from the drugs she was receiving to ease her pain. Who knows? I am really not a believer in angels and spirits but it gave me second thoughts.

My grandfather did this as well as describe what he was seeing before he died. I don't know whether there is anything to it or not but I believe in heaven and God anyway.
In amny ways it would be really cool to know what death is like but the people who die never do come back and tell us so we'll never know for sure until our time.

Yes, I do believe. Right now I wish I could see my newest Guardian Angel. I know he is going to look out for me and protect me. I just need to feel him and see him and know he is here with me.

Rajah said it well

As for the definition -- when I say angel, I can mean one of two things. Usually, I mean the "race" that is separate from man created by God to do His will. These are the guardians and messengers, the beings of light sometimes seen. But I also feel that humans and animals can act by God's direction or with His permission as His agents as well, and those I also consider to be angels. These can be the pets sent to teach us a lesson or test us, the friends sent in a time of need who become lifelong companions, the spirits of deceased loved ones... True, by Biblical definition they aren't "angels", but "angels" is the best thing to call them to me.

I believe in Biblical angels, and i believe in the spirits of our departed loved ones. Like many other's my life was once saved by an angel (well by God who sent him!)

My Grandfather, shortly before he passed was in the hospital, his leg amputated below the knee. He was visited by three, and was told to get his affairs in order, he had 33 days to do so. He told his wife. On the 33rd day, he was gone, passed peacefully in his sleep.

I believe that some are given messages so as to prepare them for this life's final journey. My grandfather asked his nurse about the people who visited him, and the nurse told him there'd been no visitors... Strange indeed, but none the less amazing.

I was told this story by a lady that was in a small plane crash. She said as the plane was crashing in a field she saw a young man in a white t shirt and jeans running toward them across the field. When the plane came to a stop he asisted her and the pilots wife out of the plane, telling them that help was on the way. She soon heard sirens in the distance. Her husband was seriously injured and uncouncious for a while. Several days later the paramedics visited her husband in the hospital. She asked if they could tell her the young mans name so she could thank him for his kindness. They told her that they hadn't seen anyone that day. She looked over at her husband and he had tears streaming down his face. He told her that a young man in a white t shirt and jeans had sat by his bed the first night and told him every thing was going to be ok. I believe.
