Many people believe angels are all around us. Not everyone is convinced. Do you have a convincing angel story that could turn a skeptic into a believer? Has an angel appeared before your eyes or made its presence known to you in some other way?

I indeed do believe in angels...at least, guardian angels.

And this is coming from a pretty big skeptic and atheist.

See, a friend of mine passed last month in a terrible accident. It was a freak accident more than anything. Exactly a week after, arson was committed in our school. It was a miracle that no one got hurt or injured. I believe my friend (Kim) was looking after us on that day.

Sometimes I still see her there, or hear her laugh, or feel her with us.

I do...and I wanted to post before this thread goes poof for violating religious discussion rules.

I most certainly do. I believe in guardian angels and any other kind. I belive we all have guardian angels, I just don't believe we all listen to them all the time.

Yes i do.. while my mom was dying in the hospital I found out I was pregnant (with my first son) I walked into her hospital room and she said.. when are you going to tell me your pregnant.. now I had JUST found out. The only other person who knew was Patrick and I know he did not speak with her.. she said "someone on the other side" told her but she wasn't allowed to say who.

I do. I don't have any stories, but I absolutely believe in angels.

I do believe in angels or spirits or whatever you want to call them. I have a couple of stories from DH's family:

- DH's uncle was fighting in WWII and was sitting in a shell hole at night. He were resting/sleeping when he was woken by the voice of his mother, who had passed away some years previously, saying "Sylvain (only his mother ever called him that, everyone else called him Slim), wake up, wake up. You have to move, get up and move." He woke up the other guy in the hole with him and they moved. Not more than a couple of minutes later an artillery shell hit the place where they had been.

- Someone in DH's family, either his grandmother or an aunt, was standing at a street corner in the winter waiting for a bus when a very tall and very good looking man came up to her and took her by the arm and said politely, "you should come and stand over here". She was charmed by him, and went to stand where he led her. A large sheet of ice came off the building and landed where she had been standing. She turned to thank him for getting her to move but he wasn't there anymore.

I believe in Angels. When I was 16, my DDad had a60's Station wagon on short supports and he was under the car near the engine.. He told me to find a wench that was on his toolbench in the basement. He said it was right in front. I went and looked everywhere for the tool and could not see. He got angry and we went to find it and it was right where he said it was very visible. We went back to the car and the supports had buckled. If my DDad did not get out from the car, he would have been crushed by 2000 lbs of car.

Only posted my belief on my pp. But my entire family has had different experiences in what we believe to be angels.

My father died in 1999 and my brother died exactly a month to the day later. Since that time we have all had times that we have heard a word of warning or a word of reassurance from them. We all strongly feel that they are our gaurdian angels. Its hard to explain but when you hear someone's voice that way; you know its not a mistake or something or someone else. It is my brother's voice and he IS talking to me. If you haven't experienced it, you may not can understand.

Yes, I do believe in angels.

Absolutely!

For He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
--Psalm 91:10-12

Yep. I wouldnt still be here if there werent.

1st story- driving on back roads right after the rain. heard the train whistle and knew I wasnt going to get stopped in time. Somehow we got stopped as the train passed. I was close enough to the tracks that the conductor and I both did the WHEW motion with our hands. I should not have been able to stop in that short of a distance.

2nd story- Driving my cousing home. At a stop light where a side road crosses a major highway in our area. My light turned green, but I didnt move. My cousin asked me why I wasnt going, I said that truck isnt going to stop. She asked what truck, as we couldnt see one from our car. The truck then blew past me through the intersection. If I had ignored the feeling, we would have both been seriously hurt or more likely killed. I never seen the truck, just knew it wasnt going to stop.

I do. About a 18 mos ago I was driving on the freeway on my way to Disneyland. My nephew was in the back seat and I heard him say "oh, crap". I then felt a push on the side of my car and the next thing I knew I was spinning across the freeway. I went from the slow lane across to the carpool lane. I remember thinking Lord, I don't know what to do, help me. I heard my friend in the passenger seat yell, "we're going to hit the wall" a couple of times then we just stopped. We were in the carpool lane facing forward as if we belonged there. I was even able to drive my car. It turns out we were hit by a semi. A little while later it just went through my mind that there are Angels among us.
