Do you and your DH/DW/SO go to bed together?

Never well maybe when we were newly married and cared what each other thought but now I go to bed when I'm sleepy and he falls asleep on the couch for a few hours then he comes to bed.

That's us EXACTLY!!!!

DH delivers milk to stores but he needs to be in there early before the stores open for business.

This has been an issue in our house lately....We always went to bed at the same time when the kids were little and went to bed early and when dh had regular work house, but he has to get up very early so it is early to bed...and there is no way I can fall asleep at 9pm
He has been complaining that I have turned into a night owl (cant sleep, thank goodness for Ambien) and we never turn in together.

No, Maybe on vacation but not at home. I worked overnights for 5 years, we hardly ever slept at the same time. Now he usually crashes on the couch and sometimes he makes it up to bed, sometimes he doesn't. I will usually go upstairs and say "I'm going to bed now" if he wants to join me, he does, if not, no big deal.

Edited to add: my kids go to bed when they feel like it. Most nights it beofre me, but sometimes on weekends they are up till all hours of the night.

Only when we have the same nights off do we go to bed together. I have to be up at 5:30 am so I go to bed by 10:00 pm and he doesn't get home from work until 1:00 am.

One of my bestfriends has a husband who insists they go to bed together every night and until very recently he insisted that the kids also go to bed then (usually 9-10) even in the summer and the kids are teens. He says he's too light a sleeper to have a tv on even on another floor of the house.

That sounds like a control issue to me. I wouldn't want to be his wife.

Most of the time we go to bed together but there are times I am just not tired and DH is wiped out early. He will go to bed and I will go online, watch tv or read. Insisting on going to bed together is odd.

No way. I fall asleep much sooner, and quicker. DH is a nightowl. I need as much beauty sleep as I can get.
