Do you all book a breakfast&dinner ADR in one day or do you pick one and then a CS?

We currently have Crystal Palace booked for our 1st day at the MK, followed by later that evening for dinner, the Liberty Tree Tavern. Is this too much in one day or not? We are just trying to schedule in accordingly so we don't miss out on the ones we want to try. THANKS:thumbsup2

I don't think it's too much, but I also have two, or on some days three, TS meals planned for each day of my trip.

I don't think it's too much either. I have the ADRS booked for my trip and every day I booked a character breakfast and TS dinner. I figured we'd "wing" it for lunch with snack or CS. We are bringing our son for the first time (he will be almost 2 when we go) and I want to keep his meal schedule on track and not spend all day feeding him snacks and such.

The DDP makes it tough in that it give you only 2 meals a night with one being a CS. I am planning on getting the DDP and use the TS for my dinners and lunch. I will pay for the breakfasts.

Doing a rough estimate of cost of our dinners and light CS lunches, we will still save money by doing DDP then paying on our own.

When traveling I like to start the day with a good breakfast and have a relaxing dinner break. I find if I skip a meal I tend to snack on junk food instead so I would rather have my 3 meals. We start our day early - our breakfast ADRS are all for around 8am - our dinner ADRs are for 5:30pm.I figure with dinner by the time you get seated and order and such you won't be eating until after 6pm with a 5:30 reservation - which would be good with my son.

Depending on our touring schedule and where we wanted to eat, we did two TS two days (breakfast and dinner) and then some days did two CS meals. It all worked out great!

Wendybird55 - we have pretty much the exact plan. DS will be just shy of 19 months when we go. Will be up at the crack of dawn ready to go for a little while. I plan on having all TS dinners and I have all character buffet breakfast planned for the am, paying oop.
Just curious...because I too priced for the dxdp and came out approx. $65 more for the dxdp then ddp and oop. Were you similar? Anyway...I am just curious were you debating any ts lunches? Thats my dilema now...1 or 2 ts lunches and we make out with dxdp... All cs and we lose out...just wondering what your thoughts were...

We usually have a breakfast/dinner or a lunch/dinner ADR's book for several days of our vacation. On our first full day at Disney, we have breakfast at CP and dinner at LTT just like your doing. It's never been to much for us. Enjoy!

I think it really depends on you family, hunger level and down time needed.
I book a table service each day minimum. I actually prefer to have a break from the heat. I will occasionally book two in one day depending on the park we are in.

We do the same. Depends on where we will be that day !
I try not to book breakfast with TS, not a great value. Often we just eat light breakfast anyway.
I usually know which CS we want to hit as well.
Just booked all mine today and I have one day with two TS.

We book a very early breakfast and a dinner arond 6:30
