Do you actually park hop with kids?

We just returned from four days at WDW with DH, DS4 and me. For us, it was one park in the morning, back to room for VERY IMPORTANT naptime, then to whichever park for the evening. Since we were going back to the room for a nap anyway, it wasn't any additional bother. We wanted to burn the candle at both ends, getting in early AND staying for fireworks late, so the nap was super critical. We probably could have gotten away without hoppers. . . but I'm with the poster who mentioned heavy crowds. I always have rotten luck--I'd be stuck each day in the park with the worst crowd!! ;)

At some point in your WDW trip planning, you adopt the mentality "It's only money. We'll make more." :rotfl: :rotfl:

Yes! Park hopping allows us (dh, ds 12, ds 4, and dd2) to stay ahead of the crowds. We go to an EMH park in the early a.m. the take WDW transportation to another park when the first becomes busy. By afternoon, the kids need a break from the heat and crowds in the park. We retire to our resort or a water park for a couple of hours. Then, we're off to yet another park for the evening. There have been times when we've planned on visiting a park (most notably MK on our final day this past fall) only to find touring it too unexpectedly crowded for comfort. Within an hour, we will have made our way to a less crowded park. I cannot imagine my family visiting WDW without being able to park hop. :confused3
