Do we still get pins and lanyard at check in?

When I booked a package last year we got several things when we checked in. We each got a pin and lanyard. Also a choice of one thing from a list, Disney luggage tag (that we got with our paperwork). and I also got $25 for using my Disney Visa.
Do we get any of those things now? Just wondering for our Oct. trip.

It looks to me like they are not doing the pins/lanyards anymore with the packages or with AAA. We also have gotten those and the "extra" of playing miniature golf, etc. And the luggage tags too. We have booked a package for next July and the booklet we got does not mention those items at all. It does look like they are giving out new luggage tags though for the celebration year.

in the all star resorts..is it true u get a free refill cup and 2 pins??? cos my mums friends just been and they got them...when we went we had to pay alot of money for those cups lol

When we stayed at POP Century in April 2004 we had the package that included 2 lanyards with pins. When we went this April 2005 our package did not include these, but....we saw another guest in the hotel food court who had just received them at check in and he said they were with "his package" so my mother went up to the front desk and asked if she could have some too for my kids. And yes, she came back with 2 new lanyards & pins. The front desk was very nice about it.

No, they have replaced this with the "photopass" promotion which is one of the worst ideas they have ever implemented!

We got one of these as well, we will be getting ours in 17 more days!

Right now on certain boxes of Kellogg's cereal you can cut off the certificate on the side of the box & it is good towards a free pin in Disneyworld. You need to collect 3 certificates, & they are good for one free pin (my kids & I saved 12 of these last year when Kellogg's did this & when we got to Disney, they got 4 free pins!..which they proceeded to trade later in the day). These certificates are good until 9/30/06. You can either mail them in or turn them in when you get to Disney. I have been making a lot of Rice Krispies treats!
